Outstanding thought process Jenny! Love it. It looks likewe are all embracing the mind shift on drinking! I find it strange but really refreshing to think that way.

I'm starting my rest of the year sober challange today!

Hi all, more challenges today! Me and my hubby got into an argument, well not really an argument but he is caring a grudge from so things I said when drunk to him about 4-6 months ago, I remember saying them I just can't remember how long ago. Anyway he brought it back up and and threw it in my face this morning, suffice it to say our "physical relationship" is over for the time being and that hurts you know. So I held my tongue and didn't say anything but I am hurt and I am a bitch when I am hurt. There is a point I promise . . .so here is how I dealt with it without AL. . .am dealing I should say. I sent all three of them to his moms for the afternoon, I cleaned my kitchen, dinning room, and washed the floors and the clothes, and will be going to the gym in a few. I had so strong AL thoughts and even thought of going to my sisters to get some voddie cause I know she has some, so instead I thought "I just want something so make my head feel fuzzy or buzzed if you will, what else could do that?" OK so green tea with ginseng does that to me so I made green tea and mixed it with cran energy for an all natural energy drink that will give me a buzz! Brilliant if I do say so my self! It's doing the trick! Well off to the gym to work off so aggression and anxiety!

Good morning all, I am here, I am sober, I am still arguing with my hubby. This morning we started at 3am so I am a little tired. I guess we reap what we sew as the saying goes. Hope everyone is well. Day 28 for me.

Awesome turning your emotions and thoughts AWAY from AL!! Just think of the tough situation you are in and you are staying away from AL.. This has to be the toughest test so far. Is there any way you could apologize for whatever you said while drinking (easy for me to say but I'm sure tough to do)? I know sometimes I will do that (even if I know I'm right) just to ease he situation and move on. hope you guys can work it out and allow you to focus on your winning AL streak!!

I myself made it through this week (surprised myself). I even allowed myself a thought that I would have a glass of wine last night with dinner in a party environment. When I went tp pour it - I stopped - I actually didn't even feel like it and got a glass of water (which tasted sooo good). Surprised myself!

Wow sharky good job! I have apologized but what I said was insulting and hurtful and I will just have to let time heal his wounds without getting angry and reopening them. That second part is the hardest for me. My best friend is going to prison for 6 months today. I'm going to go see her after work before she turns herself in. That will be hard also. She is not a bad person she has just done some bad things. I know how she was raised and know her family well, all will be ok in her life if she stops taking the easy way out. No AL problems but wicked bad drug problems, she has been clean for a year now so we can always hope.

I think ML will be back from the beach today and hey MM where are you? 24 days for you today right sharky? and 22 ML?

23 days today Jenn. Like you I'm thinking of the stretch goals.. all of Jan. 60 days... what will be next.

I just read your posts while I was out of town. Congratulations on making it through an argument like that AF!!! You are awesome!!
I'm sipping tea right now but made a mental note to run out and get ginseng tea!! LOL. Anyway, you are going to make it to 30! That's so great!
Sharky, so impressed with you, too! You are both awesome. I had a pretty easy time of it over the weekend, as we were out of our house and just had a great weekend at the beach. My hubby has been very supportive this last week, too so that's really helping.

Hi everyone i see you are all doing great , it can be hard to undo things said when drunk Jenny but with time your OH will see you changing for the better hopefully he will forgive you ( if not you could always show him the door ) . busy here for a change
