I Can't Believe I'm Doing This...

Today I decided to be done with drinking. I just posted today for the first time too. I tried giving up drinking only one other time in my life. It was over ten years ago and I quit drinking for 5 months. It was so wonderful. I look back now and realize how great it was not drinking. I believe I can do this. I have to do this.

Thanks to everyone for posting. I am starting today! I'm going to go AF for 30 days then see where I want to go from there, AF is sounding better after reading all the posts on this website. At first I thought I just wanted to moderate, and I still might but just reading the posts from other members makes me yearn for abstinance, especially as I sit here hungover.

You made me laugh out loud....I thought the same thing...I thought Lord have I hit the freaking bottom or what. Now I am buying shit off the darn internet...GREAT. Now I am on here everyday...but girl..I am 17 day AF and have lost 10 lbs...and my kids are SO SO happy. I feel good, I look better and I feel better...people are noticing...they aren't sure WHAT it is, but they are noticing.
