Hello ... an old-timer coming back to try again. My doc has just prescribed me Gabapentin to help wean me off. I am looking for anyone that might have tried it or knows something about it ... thanks!

Hi Dexter -Glad your back and trying again. Dr. George Koob with the National Institute of Health has been instrumental in bringing Gabapentin to the forefront of addiction recovery. I went-suffered the Baclofen way out. I have heard both good and not so good reports about Gabapentin. However, I do know for a fact that Gabapentin offers much fewer debilitating sides effects than those of Baclofen.Originally posted by dexterhead View Post
