I am so very sorry to hear your dreadful news.

The above links are to information about a new compound being studied in Canada for the treatment of cancer. The researchers here at the University are very excited about it.

You may be able to have someone prescribe it for Ade in the U.K.

Hi, I am new here but just read your post and want to add my support to you both.

My aunt was diagnosed with lung cancer 3 years ago and her husband was told not to expect her to be here that xmas - she signed up to a guinea pig drug trial and she is still here, poorly at times, but still here. The tumour hasnt grown at all!! (She is in the UK)

May be something to think about?

thats good news for your aunt newjen, it sounds like she had a primary tumour. The onc. admitted on weds that it was also in the liver, so now he has mets in the liver, brain, lower spine and upper spine. this is a completly different scenario unfortunately.

i have asked about DCA and will also ask about any trials.
