I cannot get into chat, it says waiting for server then it times out, never had problem before, can anyone help, really need to talk to people xxx

Twitch, I see you're no longer logged on but here's a suggestion. I can't get into chat with Mozilla Firefox but I can with Internet Explorer. Maybe try changing your server. Hope that helps...
