We are slowing getting everyone back on board, and we are still happy to manually reset passwords if yours has changed. Simply email us at mwoupgrade@gmail.com and let us know your user name.
There are a few reasons for the password snafu:
1) The recent upgrade did not transfer passwords over to the new system (they are never seen by anyone, even administrators)
2) An automatic email was sent to all registered members with a link to update their password; however many of those emails were old or invalid
3) Those who did receive the email had only 24 hours to visit the site and update their passwords; clearly not enough time for everyone to see the email or tend to the task
4) Many of those emails ended up in spam folders so were never seen.
So even though we are getting back on step, it was a devastating blow to our membership, with thousand of people being cut off from the board, and not sure why. We're doing everything we can to get our house back in order. It's been no small effort!
Please email us if you can read this as a guest and would like to have your account re-enstated. It will allow you to link to all your previous posts, most of your saved PMs and any customization (eg signature file) you used earlier.
