I have two friends one has pancreatic cancer and the other is his best buddy. How can I describe how it is right now for my friend who has lost his golf partner, as men it they do not say alot.

Thank you all so much. It is wonderful to know that you are sending prayers up for my mom and Yvette. My mom still drives during the day, so she and Yvette still get together, but mostly they talk several times a week on the telephone for at least an hour or so.

I want to drive my mom to see Yvette because I may never see Yvette again if I don't. When I was in my teens, she would come to visit, and she was so funny, I would always enjoy her, despite being in a perpetual teenage snit.

I just worry about her because she keeps so much inside.

Sammys, I am so sorry about your friends. It must be terrible for them, and of course, for you. ((((Sammys))))

I'm Feeling Bad For My Mother

My thoughts and caring is with you, your Mom and Yvette. You'll always remember these times and being there for both of them during such a difficult time is wonderful for all. I, too, am going through this with my elderly parents. My Mom's dementia makes it especially tough for she knows and gets very sad but does not understand it all. So many of their friends and family have passed. It never gets easier.
