And good morning everyone how are we today then it is just morning as it is 11:52 a.m. I've been out this morning the winds have died down so I've been in the garden feeling a lot better apart from my foot which is still giving me grief. I thought it was a lot better yesterday but it got worse last night. I have been out this morning cleaning brick chipping the sand and cement mix off the old bricks ready to make Pillars when my friend eventually gets here he was telling me that second hand bricks to buy are about a pound each which in your money I guess is just over a dollar now considering I have a pile at least of 150 and that is without taking the other wall down yet there is a few sheckles in that pile. Apart from that we will be using quite a few.
good morning lav how are you this morning? Hope all is well in your part of the world. Yes I had the Merlin app on this morning and it picked up quite a few different birds including a flight of swans a hobby and a kestrel. I've also dug out some fungi etc and planted it in amongst some dead branches in the ground I am also trying to get some lavender plants because they attract Birds bees and butterflies hope all is well and you have a good day

Sunny & heading up to 78 degrees, not bad for this time of year. No super special plans for me but I always find something to do.

Mick, funny that you mentioned used bricks. The bricks used on the garage were from a teardown in the city of Wilmington, DE & the bricks that will be used to build the new wood stove hearth in the basement will be coming from a teardown in Baltimore, MD. They have a certain patina to them & the price is right for sure.
Have you looked at a arch support for your shoe to relieve your foot pain? Amazon has some good ones. I think I’m going to put my potted lavender plants in the greenhouse for the winter. They may survive in there plus it’s heated to keep orchids happy & healthy all winter.

Hi Mick & Lav...
A little late getting home had to finish setting up for the civic election forum tonight. Wanted to make sure everything was working ok so I don't get a text this evening. The new assistant cc director started today and I think she's a winner. Very computer literate which will take a load off me. Sorry I still haven't gotten the App yet. Hopefully I can do it after my rheumatology appointment tomorrow.

afternoon all....how are we doing? hope all is well ..I was up really early this morning ...went out to my wee shed to watch the dawn chorus...lots of birdsong but not many birds.I was experimenting with different settings on my camera.Ive put a few pics up on my fb page ...the robin isnt too good a pic but loved the blue tits .Foot still sore but easing off I think ..its either that or the painkillers .

Ive got the insoles from previous ..not sure what has caused it ..hard floors same footwear I dont know ..Ill need to wait until spring to get some lavender ..I should have brought mine with me.Cleaned some more brick off this morning ..I think Ive got about 200 clean brick now..and another wall to come down .did a bit on my wildlife garden too.hope you have a good day ..

Almost noon here, getting a little clody for the rain moving in tonight & tomorrow. I will be accompanying someone on his trip to see his doc this afternoon. Stopping at a Costco on the way home & also for an early dinner at Applebees. I love a day out of the kitchen once in a while, Lol

Mick, i was trying to get Merlin to pick up the chickens sounds last evening but it said it was Carolina wrens haha!!!
Have you ever started lavender from seed? It’s not really hard, I brought seeds back from my Canada trip years ago. They had such a lovely lavender farm we visited.
sounds like you’re staying busy but take it easy on that sore foot. These things are such a pain to deal with as we age.
