    you took my money,abused me,destroyed my relationship with friends & family,
    yet i believed i needed you, we had our little secrets and special places,
    what fun we had in the beginning, but not in the end, in the end you destroyed me
    ,i hated myself and loved you,so what sort of friend would you call that.well i am
    writing to you today to say its all over,no more, i am not you & don't need you
    so goodbye the old me is back
    I read this letter at least twice a week
    it helps me:thanks:

                There was an old thread entitled "Voddy" that echoes the same sentiments. It's a bit longer. You all might enjoy it.

                    Wow I wrote that back in 03/02/09 just over 2 weeks in to my alcohol free journey,Thanks wantobesober its a nice feeling to read back and to see how far one has come.

                      This is a great letter, and I would tape it to my fridge if I was still starting out....wait, maybe I should STILL tape it to my fridge because you never know when "friends" are going to call unannounced.
