Lisa, white rabbits is a kind of superstition...Its supposed to be lucky if its the first thing you say on the first of the month...Good luck with the yummy dipper or whatever its called....pie & mash is about my limit....It sounds nice though...I think you promised to report back...Hope it goes well.
Mike, your not wrong there...Last night was never ending...Also took an eternity to fall asleep.....I'm also thinking along the same lines as you...I,m still relativly young....Hopefully i gotta a lot of years left....I want to be sober and enjoy them....And thanks for the support.
Kathy, even though its Sunday i get the impression you find it hard to sit still..You gotta relax sometimes....i dosnt mean your lazy...Would love to take you fishing for the day ....The ultimate chill pill......Have you decided if your gonna do the flags in winter?....I was thinking the same thing regarding the Phils.
Mojo, sorry to hear about your grandma....Do you know when your moving to England yet?......For chrismas i would like replaced all the things my kids have broke latley...I'll explain in a moment.

As i was saying Mojo......Thank god the week is over...This week has been............Lets all break dads stuff week...
1. mobile phone ( had it 2 years...had great photos and videos on it)
2. Dads new glasses
3. Dads shaving mirror
4. Dads head light for fishing ( only got that today)
5. Dads Tower...( have to use a pen to turn it on now )
6. Dads spirit and will to live.

Oh Macks!!

Hi ya, Macks!

I am a true believer that God made our children so adorable as a guarantee that we would let them live to adulthood so that the human race would continue ......(as questionable as that may seem sometimes)!:H

You're very sweet about my not being able to sit still, but the problem is that I had been sitting still for a very long time (years!!)until this past year, and the only exercise I had been getting had been bending my elbow to get the wineglass to my mouth!! So I'm just trying to get caught up and get the infrastructure of my paperwork for both office and home back in order. It is a seemingly endless task, but it is slowly getting done! At any rate, I will take you up on your fishing offer. I just have to find my magic bubble in all this mess to get me over there........

Things are getting easier now that I'm back on track with getting my topa and supps in order again. I'm not having as many cravings today as recently and not having to fight them off to just have one or two drinks.

Tuesday is D-Day!!! I'm looking forward to it actually. I just get fed up with these negative patterns!!

So sorry to hear about Liz - thanks Lee for sending a message. Hope she is feeling better very soon.

The Yom Kippur dinner went very well....'no wine for me, thank you.'
I did just fine. Yom kippur (looked it up for more details today) is the most holy jewish holiday. It is the day of attonement and they have to fast from just before sundown today until after sundown tomorrow. They are supposed to ask for forgiveness for anything they may have done - they ask forgiveness from God and from each other. Kind of like the Catholic confession - my friend said they just get it all done on one day.
You are supposed to ask people if you have offended them in any way and then ask to be forgiven if they have.

So they have all gone and the kitchen is actually clean - pretty cool.
Kathy....I think I've been talking about my exp report and other paperwork all weekend - I've done zero of it. I will absolutely positively start work on it right this minute!! I've been pacing myself

Macks - sorry about all the broken things - that all just happened to be yours
But you do have seriously cute kids!

Neil...that was me asking about the trainer. Guess I'm going to have to find out about my body fat % whether I want to or not - scary thought.

Hi everyone --

Very late post on my part. So much going on this weekend - I was going in ten different directions the whole time. I never did get around to making a plan to make it through and I did have 2 wines (glasses - not bottles!! And glasses poured by someone else - not me...:eeks: ) on Friday and one on Saturday. So....sigh. But at least that was it. Did not have a moment to really check in here or start CDs again. I have another hellish day tomorrow and then Tuesday I think my world kind of returns to normal so I am hoping to be back on the whole program then. My move back to absville is slow, but I'm coming!

Hi everyone,
I have just had the most awsome weekend of my life!
My baby boy is now married to the sweetest young lady I have ever known!
They exchanged their vows yesterday at sunset on a beautiful farm! The beautiful bride arrived in a horse drawn carriage. It was the sweetest thing I've ever seen. Her dad escorted her to my son with tears flowing down his cheeks. The first dance was with my son then she danced with her dad to "I loved her first"..........
All AF!

Awwwhhh Nancy- That sounds so wonderful. I teared up just thinking about it (happy wedding tears).
So happy for you - sounds like your son married into a wonderful family. Congrats on doing it all AF - bet it made it so much sweeter.

Expense report is done - yea. Little stuff but nice to accomplish something!

Kate - sounds like a pretty good weekend to me. And I think we all know what you mean by someone else pouring the wine You are doing great.
