Chill- Do you know the size of your diamonds approximately? The clarity and weight of each of them. You can measure the diameter and they will give me an idea of how many carats they are each. What gold are they set into? I can tell you what they would cost me wholesale to give you a rough indication of whether you will get a fair price for them.

Well the poo has hit the fan today. I blocked the email address of my AA harasser so she has now emailed a work collegue today to tell her that I am an alkie.Geez. This woman is persistant. I had some explaining to do to my work collegue. This is beginning to mentally drain me. May have to call a lawyer tomorrow

Chill - also painted Marilyn Monroe. No you wont get the full value but I will make sure that you dont get ripped off either. The main thing is that you get a fair price. Some people are selling their jewellery on ebay too. Its another option.
The police paid her a visit just before christmas and advised her to stop emailing me but she doesnt seem to care. People like her are dangerous

I always loved to draw and paint, make things etc. Won awards when I was little. I was never good at maths.

I went to art school to do a degree in jewellery design but not for painting.

Rebirth, I would get the police on that woman - don't spend your money on a lawyer, they can't stop her. All they can do is sue her. Let the police lock her up for a day or two....she'll probably change her mind! Your art is very nice

Chill, since I sell on ebay I know people are there looking for good deals - keep that in mind for your jewelry.

Hi Folks:

Just a quick check-in tonight. Got to the gym tonight after work and logged my longest post-surgery run so far - 4.5 miles. Making good progress - I would never have been able to do this if I was drinking. My objective was always getting home from work as quickly as I could to start hitting the sauce. Not anymore!

I've heard of the neti-pot from other folks, too but I don't have one. In the past, I've used the Ocean saline nasal spray and I'm with you Lav - a nice HOT shower usually opens up my sinuses. My problem is I have nasal polyps which have to be removed. Looks like I'll be having that taken care of sometime in February.

Rebirth - Thanks for sharing your talent - great artwork. Also, I agree that you should go right to the police about the woman who is harassing you. She needs to spend a night in the clinker to get the message loud and clear.

Very active thread - I always enjoy reading everyone's updates and perspectives.

RB--Two things: AMAZING painting!!! We're just throwing out all kinds of US adjectives at you!!! And can you get a protection order or restraining order on this gal...do you have those where you live. She is totally harassing and threatening you and making you feel unsafe...that should be grounds for at least some type of restraining order I would think???

Chill---Now you going to London ((pout, pout))...not fair!! SO selling jewelry huh?? COunt me in!! I have this diamond necklace from my last ex-jack wagon (have you seen those commercials...when that therapists calls that guy a jack wagon????SO FUNNY!!!) anyway...that I would LOVE to sell!!! How do you do it??? And where??? I know ebay, but I wouldn't think you'd get much for jewelry on ebay would you??? I dunno???

Paguy--awesome job on your run tonight....I so wanted to go downstairs and workout but my son had a friend over and they were down there...so I was enjoying the peacefulness of the upstairs instead!! I will get to it tomorrow...promise...no excuses!
