The story goes on..more snow. It should start here soon since my brother just called and it's already started in the city. Where are you early Spring? We miss you.

Anyway, I did get a nice kid-free trip into the city yesterday evening and hit up the Bulk Barn. I don't know about all of you but I absolutely love that place. I got lots of mini chocolate chips for cookies, mini M&M's, sour jubes, spinkles galore..some silicone heart baking cups for cupcakes, new frosting tips for my icing gun, colouring..all kinds of wonderful things. It was nice having that few hours to just stroll the store and take my time.

A happy note as well was no desire to stop and get some AL for the storm, which normally would have been one thing I worried about. The only thing that freaked me out was having no popsicles, so I had to stop and get those instead. Priorities!

Good morning BB. Wow - this winter has been a swirling one for sure! I too am ready for early spring. Sounds like you really enjoyed a bit of time for yourself shopping. Little Gia will love the heart shaped cupcakes that are surely in her near future! Good for you on popsicle focus rather than AL focus.

I join BB in the shout outs to Uni and Det and anyone else who might be struggling today.

I'm heading off shortly for leads group and then Weight Watchers. I really like the new program - it's working fo me. P3, I think of you and wonder how it's going for you! Where is Pride? Any other WW'ers? I really like the shift in focus to whole, real foods. The processed stuff is still out there - big demand for that stuff. But the eating plan (to me anyway) clearly steers one's choices towards the good stuff more now than under the previous plan. (IMO) I'm down about 10 pounds since December 26 ( a few of that being just water). I have 6 more to go and I'll be back at the top end of my goal weight range. Hopefully by spring!

One thing is for sure - I've got NO points to use for AL today. Hello to all fabbies coming! Have a fabulous day!

BB, thanks for getting us started this morning, and that sounds like quite the shopping trip! Isn't amazing how you don't even realize how much you are rushing when you have kids with you? Awesome job on the alcohol as well - that was always a trigger for me as well, but I like your idea of of having a popsicle better!

Woke up this morning thinking it was the weekend and I was going to be sleeping in. Realized it was Tuesday and hauled my butt out of bed, got my coffee now, and am ready for another exciting day at work. Have a great day everybody!

DG, that's great on the weight loss! It's amazing what just a few simple changes in your day can do.

AA, that's awesome! I want one! Little Gia would love that! It sucks when you think it's the weekend and it's not. Man, the feeling of disappointment. That's why we have coffee, lol. You're a trooper, I have faith in yah big guy.

Morning guys!

I was up so late last night it's ridiculous! We stayed up until 2am watching a movie - great movie though called "fracture" with Anthony Hopkins. Needless to say though I'm a little sleepy now. That's okay though.

Today I have on the agenda: AA meeting, homework, work out and finish the laundry. It will be a busy day but busy is good. Makes me feel like I'm doing something worthwhile when I'm busy.

Had a great group therapy session last night. I cried and got a lot of hugs. Feel a whole lot better now.

One day at a time, right guys?

great job on the weight loss DoggyGirl. When I went to doctors for checkup last week he noted my weight is down 20lbs from 2 years ago. I'm pretty ok with my weight now but need some cardio...huff puff....

Lav, so what did you do to keep yourself out of trouble?

Det, you're sounding so much better today! Onward and Upward my friend. I need to work on Cardio too, I need to get my butt back out on my bike again..and the diving and snorkeling. That will help. I do have snowshoes, maybe I'll take Little Gia snowshoeing soon! That will be fun.

Cassia, I hope you feel better after a good nights sleep. Sleep helps a lot of things in my life, that's for sure. After so long without any quality shut eye I really value and cherish it these days.

Pap, report back! I hope you have time to breathe today!

Greenie, 13k posts! It happens before you know it. I can imagine the amount of posts I would have had over the years if I didn't get them deleted..yikes.

Uni, I really want to see the new Anthony Hopkins movie..is it called "The Rite"? I think so, I'm not sure It looks so good and scary! I like running my ass to the car after a movie because I'm afraid something will get me. Hah! Det..there's good cardio for you and gets the heart pumping!

I am so done baking for the day. Good Lord, the amount of cookies I made is incredible and now 24 cupcakes. I'm going to freeze half of everything I made and take them out as we want them. The cookies turned out great!! The cupcakes still have to be decorated but they are looking nice and chocolately. I think tonight I'm going to watch some more scary movies, I'm on a scary movie kick again.

Hey all

Thanks for your good wishes - today is just a total write-off. I didn't get a chance to nap because I had to make a phone call which I was hoping would lead to some opportunities or at least referrals but it turns out the lady gave me the wrong number. So, I got no where. So disheartened as I thought I was finally making a breakthrough. I feel like I am going to be stuck in Scotland forever.

So between that and work I feel that the wind has been taken out of my sails. I am usually so positive and I do believe you make your own luck - things don't get handed to you but a wee break would be nice. Oh well, just have to pick myself up and try again tomorrow. But for right now, I kinda want to wallow - I know, not the answer. But sometimes, you just need a day to wallow.

BB - I bought cupcake mix today so going to make them tomorrow! I was going to try and do it tonight but just didn't have the energy.

Det - good to see you and delighted you are having a great day.

DG - AWESOME on the weight loss. I have only lost a couple of pounds since going AF but I have noticed that the gym work I am doing is changing my body shape. I would still like to lose about 20 lbs but I think its going to be slow and steady for me. And eating cupcakes won't help!!!
