It's so good to be home and doing nothing on a sunny saturday, think i might take dog and kid to park - wear them out for the evening.

Cash, you wouldn't mind swinging by and picking up my three kids, two dogs and a couple of cats? They love going to the park.

Hi Mona.....I wish I could sleep in! With daylight savings here the kids are up at 6.15 am. It's actually quite good because I'm not rushing around in the mornings as in the old days and .... being non-hungover helps to make it quite a nice time in the mornings these days! But on a Sat and Sun! It can be a bit of a pain getting up so early. Enjoy the rest of your Friday and have a lovely Saturday.... although we have used up three quarters of our Saturday already.... but I won't even go there again...

I DID sleep in! How lovely. And I feel great! :wd: Had my coffee, read the paper, now going to get ready for what was going to be a week end working in the yard.
After watching the weather, I had better make a new list. Plenty of indoor projects, plus hub mentioned a movie. YUMMMM, pop corn. Opps, forgot, not for breakfast.

I sleep a little later (about 1hr) but enjoy waking up without that headache or guilt. Makes for a much more pleasant day. And if I'm in a horrible mood it's only the hormones not the hooch!

No big plans today...daughter's first softball practice...bit of spring cleaning...

When my kids were young, I put black out blinds on their windows to get them to sleep late. It worked really well.

heya Abbers! finally got internet connection to work again at a different hotel in Vegas. this is my first hangover-free visit to the sin city!! landed a nasty head cold but at least I didn't do it to myself! Everybody drinks so much here it's crazy. a good test for me for sure, but holding fast. i was at a buffet last night with some "hearty partiers" and two of them had to run to the mens room to ralph...boy did that bring back dreadful memories.

Deet my luvver...strong resolve boy....and not so much of the 'ralphing' please...I am TRYING to enjoy a bowl of muesli, which is starting to look disconcertingly like the contents of a toilet bowl after a heavy bout of Huuueeeeyyy green...thanks VERY much!!

Hope karma feeds you the good cards at the tables, and your little ball lands wherever you need it to on that funny black and red spinning game, wotever it's called.....I've indulged heavily in most vices, but gambling was never one of them, so sorry for the lack of technical language!

aplogies for the graphic technicolor vomit-talk. my folks wouldn't let me take drama in school so this is my artistic rebellion exploding through my otherwise square and gentlemanly visage not to worry Weemelon, I don't gamble either and don't have a clue what all the obnoxious blinking clicking things are made for in casinos. I'm here visiting my inlaws and EATING! I'm eating my way through the world one city at a time. They have some ab-fab eateries 'round here and with a bung knee the exercise just isn't keeping up, oh well.
it's really weird getting into an elevator with people that have been boozing heavy....stinko!
