It was easy.... Ha ha, not really but I'm sure glad I did it I feel so good today so lucky that I'm 150 days.
A big part of the reason why I made it this far is because you girls, you girls help me so much you Loamers, I love you and thank you so much. it was amazing to have you as my support!

You know, I had some huge cravings and really had to fight that AL brain. Those were the times I came here and you all helped me through. I even got threats (Ava) which scared me straight!


Off to bed, it's still snowing here on my dead flowers...but whatever, they will come back next year. So is life in the Great White North

Well, LB, I think that most of us here "cured" ourselves of this addiction (without drugs) because by participating (reading and posting), we came to truly believe we could get better. At least for me, nothing else was different other than the faith people here had in me and their encouragement helped me believe I could do it. And I did. I've seen the same thing happen to so many others -like you . Somehow, the healthy parts of our brains were able to change the sick parts. The science behind the amazing abilities and power of the brain are in this book: How Your Mind Can Heal Your Body: David R. Hamilton: 9781458780164: Amazon.com: Books. He also describes techniques for harnessing the brain's healing powers. I've read this type of thing in spiritually-oriented books about the mind-body connection but this is the first one I've read with scientific support (which makes it easier for me to accept ).

OMG - almost missed my gift! Got it just in time to go to bed, perfect eh! Just need to see if I can remember how to handle one - diamond necklace I am talking about ladies! Wearing diamonds to bed is a true luxury!
I was mentioning this morning how much smoother the second 100 days were, and how at ease I feel now - content! Long may this last, because I really quite like it!!
