The booze won't help PQ - we both know that - but we know how it must be so tempting. I cant imagine how your family and you are coping. It must also be so strange to have a sudden murder like this be in world headlines. Thats very very tough. I hope that your niece's parents and sister are given proper assistance in how to deal with the media.
Mr G - are you back on Day One - I wasn't too clear from your post.
Ironically we celebrated the Queen's Birthday here in NZ and it was a public holiday. This means nothing in terms of celebrations except a few people receive Honours - including the joke of our former PM. I moved more crap from my office to home and had an afternoon nap - as I am not sleeping so well. My daughter spent the day in the library -preparing for her exams.

latest update in the garden..wasnt happy with the pile of yellow york stone,around the little fountain,soo the project yesterday was to change it..here it is ..there will be a village pump pouring water into the fountain..looks better with the new stone..

Happy Monday my friends,Mick I've posted from my phone since 2012,only posted from the computer once that whole time garden is gonna look great make sure to post pics!PQ,I'm thinking of you, sometimes it feels like the world is going crazy,terror,killing,seems like everyone is on drugs(in this city anyways) child abuse,environment changes,etc maybe its part if the reason my brother snapped,feels like the future is screwed sometimes, I just try to focus on my small corner and TRY to keep it positive, I haven't heard from Det,maybe I'll shoot him a text today or he'll show up here hopefully, its a fine line between wanting to check on someone and being annoying, I don't want to annoy anybody but actually thinking back on my last bender if it weren't for Nora texting me everyday I might not have gotten back up,hmmmm, something to think about. Morning folks. It's not quite Thursday yet Pauly! That was a chirpy post. I know what you mean about checking on folk and being annoying but sometimes even if they don't respond they need to know that we care.
First thing when I turned the radio on this morning was about your niece PQ. Getting a lot of media attention here. It would be impossible to go to work I imagine.

Pauly, I was thinking of something I heard in the past. Life is unfair, life is hard, life is good. It is all true. In the midst of a sh**storm, there are still good things going on and we have to look for them and bring them close. I have been trying to watch the news one time a day as so much of it is negative and skews my view of the world.

TT, hope your sleep gets better, a fire sounded nice. I like how you are burning old papers.

Aw Pauly...it's rough isn't it. I was ok today until a co-worker returned from holidays and heard the news. Just talking about it brought the tears back. It was good to be at work as I was able to put it out of my mind for awhile. I hope things settle down for you soon but your situation is quite a bit different than mine....:hug:PPQP
