Mae everybody, nice pics Mick Sam thats why I hate sleeping in, feel groggier and more tired throughout the day,PQ,I try to think in a positive way like that but I feel like my family is never gonna be the same again, the visits,the holidays,his kids growing up, makes me sad and I've been thinking about other family members dying and that really makes me sad, guess its cuz I've never had to deal with it before,my thoughts are with you hi Snoopstar! MAE ALL....where does the day go. I think with this past weekend, hiring a new building super, putting up with the current building super / planning his retirement lunch for tomorrow and making sure I get everything I need from the program coordinator before she takes all of July off, my days are pretty full. I don't know about you guys but when I started a new job I wasn't entitled to vacation for a year. We're going to a restaurant called Smuggles, best prime rib in the city and am really looking forward to it.

Lav...thanks. Glad YB is on the mend. Now that he's got it down pack you can send him back on his own. Good job on the new coop roof. The Amish do know how to work.

Mick...so how many times has Julie packed and unpacked. LOL You guys really deserve a break and I hope it's not as emotional as the last one. Yup Caroline will be surrounded by friends and family. They're going to continue with their traditional Bday party. Great pic's. I found the dawn and dusk the best time of day when I was living on the ranch. So peaceful.

Sam...I just hate oversleeping. The whole day starts off on the wrong foot. Hope you were able to catch up and have a productive day.

Pauly...and they may never be the same again. It's a new reality and no matter what, the sun does come up in the morning. Your situation is a little different and I can't imagine all the what if's you've been thinking. My thoughts are with you too. :heartbeat:

11 pm & I'm just getting a moment to say hello all!
I ended up with the grandsons here again for another overnight stay due to working or out of town parents. I don't mind having them but they are now getting into some nasty fighting. The younger one suffered a bloody nose yesterday I hear & it started bleeding a little again tonight, ugh. Boys can be real animals, ha ha!

Mick, you yard looks great & I hope those horses don't start chewing on your fence too.
The chicken palace looks great but the young ones are still hopping over the temporary fencing. We have some many hawks & owls around here so I fear for their safety.

anywhere but for the life of me I can't recall which country.

hi Sam ..hows you then today?all good I hope..yes where I live is right on the edge of both town life and rural.Most of the villages are from ther 16/17th century from the cotton industry..the 2 nearest towns are Rochdale and Oldham,...the nearest city Manchester 12 miles away..the countryside is really hilly...the pennines..again small villages dotted through them....there is also a Roman fortlet and a marching camp not far away either a well as signs of Stone age and Iron Age occupation..

Good morning to all.

Have to be in the car six hours today, doctor's appointment far away, not for me though. Enjoying the summer, using my basil I planted out back for recipes, and I get a real kick out of that for some reason.

Det, I have no plans for the 4th either, my husband has to work, my other family is out of town. I think I will make a new recipe, go to the pool, take a walk, read, see if there is something good on TV. I know, boring, but maybe something will pan out. I agree it is important to have plans you are doing so well. Taking any pictures lately out in nature? I love the pics you take.

Off to have another cup of coffee. Life is good.

But you know the old saying Happy Wife Happy Life....just saying. The pictures of the garden party were sent to someone who is currently on holidays, so when he gets back I may have some pics to post.

Snoop...I hope that's 6 hours round trip and not one way!

Sam...wow, fall feeling in the air already! It'll be here way to soon as well. My long weekend will find me catching up on home projects as well.

Going in early to redo software installs on a laptop as when it was connected to the network everything was lost!! It'll keep me occupied till lunch!!

mornin all howz we doing today then?all good hopefully ...yep its pouring down here strangely enough!rabbits couldnt get out at all yesterday..and so far today doesnt look different.Saw the deer playing in the field earlier on....All packed ready for the off tomorrow...me that is ..not the deer..

actually got up on time today! Interesting Mick, the area you live has a much older history. So much of history revolves around conquest, ain't it a shame. In our area, we seem to keep reliving the civil war.
Lav, I did hear it is suppose to get hot again, I read temps in Pakistan are 128º F!!!! how is that possible? Pauly, temps like that where you live??
