Tomorrow is the last day we have to deal with this heat - yay!!!!
I'll really be upset if they change the forecast, this has been ridiculous.

Mick, I can totally see you wrestling a prisoner, ha ha! I had a few prisoner/patients over the years who were handcuffed to the side rails of the bed with a police officer stationed outside the door. I am SO glad to be retired, ha ha!!!!
I hope your back continues to improve & don't do anything to screw it up again

The old bat who lives next door to my son complains bitterly every fall when the leaves from his huge maple tree blow over on her driveway, duh!!!
She started to complain to me about the leaves a few years ago & I basically told her to shut up, haha!!!

PQ, it's always an experience sitting in the emergency waiting room, sometimes you can learn a lot, ha ha!!

mornin all..howzoui today then ?are we all good then?hope so ...well yesterday,got the cruise control fitted looks good ...works not!!all the connections have been checked etc but still nope ....the guy has ordered another unit so it should be here tomorrow...weather is pretty good again today.....so lets have a brew...

Hubs has replaced parts with a brand new but non working part many times,,worst one was a fuel pump cuz its all deep inside and he had to do all the work again,I think I'm gonna buy that shirt,thanks for the link Det are you all cured up? Peggy seems to be much better, thank you for asking. I needed some new cheques for a bank account. Couldn't log in. None of my profile was recognized and 2-1/2 hours later finally got it sorted out. This is a very small bank that I used in WA state and they have messed up so many times. A direct deposit goes in there until November then I will close the accounts. They actually sent me an apology card after placing a large amount into a new account I didn't request. Well it's fixed for the time being.

Still 90 deg. here with high humidity. When it gets very humid I feel like I can't take a proper breath.

Been a very busy day.

Lav...the 12 hours was inside the ER since we arrived by ambulance. So that was more exciting as her cubicle was right beside the ambulance entryway. LOL

SK...glad to hear Peggy is better. It really sucks when banks screw up. Don't know about you but I live pay cheque to pay cheque and a screw up could really hurt. Normally we don't have humidity to deal with but last year with all the rain we got a taste of it. I too found it hard to take a proper breath.

Busy day but no problem solving required. Not sure what's for dinner but leaning towards delivery. LOL Have a good night all.....:smile:PPQP

Mae everybody, Mick nice orchid yesterday, I cannot get those to thrive! Been bought a few times over the years and always ends up a stick work is still messed up but I'm blocking it out,newest saga is my friend/coworker who called in Monday claiming she fainted and hit her neck,when she called in Tues I told her she better go see the doc cuz fainting is not normal! Comes in yesterday whining to all her customers about her head hurting but yet told Kell she fell and hit her hand and couldn't cut hair? Something weird is up with her cuz I asked her what the docs said and she said she didn't go,,weird,I know she likes opioids for recreation and I wonder if its getting out of hand,actually I've wondered that for awhile, she's another who gave up drinking daily(but still drinks here and there) but substituted something else PQ,I can't believe I missed taco Tuesday haha,last night I made our"redneck" spaghetti, its bacon,macaroni and tomato sauce,sounds weird but its good! I'd wear that shirt wherever, peeps can kiss my arse when it come to that guy,seen on the news they're building prototypes of"the wall" what a waste of money! I hate that creep,didn't think I would as much as I do but what an embarrassing state we're in much love to ALL including our SF,Pie and Sam,wishing us a happy AF Thursday

Mick...the polls say the popularity of our Prime Minister is at it's lowest right now. Crazy tax ideas are upsetting small business owners. You be careful what you wish for, you may just get that home grown hurricane. The boys decided on takeout and went out and got burgers. We're having ham, perogies and peas for dinner tonight.

Thursday is Staff Meeting which has quickly become just a gab session, think the boss could tell I was getting fed up. Right after that meeting, boss called another meeting for website update procedures and he and program coordinator got into it about the upcoming municipal election. I finally said we'll update the website after the vote. Boss said yes we just got side tracked and I replied ya but I've got a lot of work to do. So it was a total waste of a morning I really couldn't afford. Bitch over, time to cook, have a great evening all....:smile:PPQP
