Re: 14th of the month before November...

    Good evening Abbers,

Geez Mick, I did receive your message this morning &never had a chance to respond.
I sure hope your brother is OK, that's a tough one
So is the new router doing everything it's supposed to do? We pretty much have to get a new one every few years - they don't seem to last & they usually get injured during one of of frequent power failures.

Pauly, 42 here now with a chance of frost overnight, haha!! I love it though, I really do especially after such a stinking hot summer.

PQ, I swear I stockpile coffee, can't let us run out around here. Costco sells the big 3 lb cans - YES

Cyn, you must have been super tired last night, ha ha!!
I used to watch girls on night shift sitting at the desk, writing on patient's charts & falling asleep in the middle of a sentence Now that's tired!!!
    Hope you are otherwise A-OK.

Hello to G, Det, SK & anyone else stopping by tonight.

I had a great lunch with friends then ended up going out for a bite to eat for dinner too. My kitchen is spotless today!!

    Have a nice night everyone!

Went to see the psychologist .
She asked “Do any sounds irritate you?”
        “Real or imaginary?” I inquired.
“Let’s go with imaginary” She said curiously.
“A spider wearing flip flops” I said.

She says it's because of their portrayal of women she disagrees with.

It's because of her inability to act that I disagree with.

Everyone in the library applauded and Cheered me so I told them to shut the fck up too..

MAE ALL...coffee restocked, brews all around.

Mick...I checked in very early yesterday morning and then stayed late at work to take down the coolaroo and put all the communal plots to bed for the winter. Poor volunteer turnout so it took the few of us awhile to finish. By the time I got home and had something to eat it was bed and book time. Glad to hear your brother is doing ok and might get out before the weekend. I've decided to take Monday off so it'll be a long weekend for me. :yay:

SK...sounds like the checkup was a good one. I'm hoping the cumercin works as well on rheumatoid arthritis, we shall see.

Lav...good job on lunch and dinner out yesterday. Sometimes when I get my kitchen spotless I think I'm never cooking in here again. LOL

Tgirl...your turn to crack me up. LOL Don't forget me time.

Pauly...with the way global warming is going Alaska could be the new Vegas! Thanks for the tip on the oatmeal.

Gman...good to see you popping in. Hope all is well in your world.

Sam..we're all thinking of you and hope as is good.

Time to start this day, have a good one all....:smile:PPQP

            Hello Abbers,

Mick, good that the rabbits are bonding! Sorry to hear about your brother - I hope all heals well. Good news if he is released today.

PPQ , in the 40s here, with frost warnings each night. I need to find some gloves! I don't mind mind though since it's sunny - what a treat.

Pauly, are you off today? Have any plans?

Lav, sounds like you had a good time with your friends - so nice that you keep in touch.

Det, how is your paperwork going? Hope that gets settled for you soon.

Working hard and long here - sending lots of love and light to all --

Re: 14th of the month before November...

                  Greetings Abbers,

Pauly, did you put the cooked bacon on the pizza? Finding bugs in the pancake/waffle mix freaks me out too. I don't even buy the mixes any more, just make it fresh.
I hope Romeo feels better soon, poor guy is just over ear infections, right?

Mick, my apologies for the picture & message re the silicone baking pan - that was supposed to go to my daughter, ha ha. That's what happens when the elderly try to chat with two people at the same time. Glad the bunnies are settling in nicely

PQ, I really shouldn't even be trying to eat out this month - not sticking to my food restrictions so much when I eat out - oh well. It's nice to get a break from kitchen duties though.
Glad you got your garden duties squared away.
I hope your long weekend is restful for you.

Cyn, we definitely had frost on the pumpkin this morning! No color changes in the leaves though. We're skipping the fall season I'm afraid.
I hope your weekend is good & you can relax just a little

SK, glad you are getting some relief from the arthritis. I love natural cures when we can get them.
I see your neck of the woods is still getting a lot of rain. I hope you & the kitties are doing OK.

Hi Det, what's going on with you?

Ran up to the outlets today to secure some jeans, sweaters & shoes to get this colder weather season started. It was a nice day for a drive anyway.
I hope everyone has a decent night!

                      not helpful for sleep.

Went to farmers market today and got one tomato that cost 7 bucks and was toooootally worth it. A magnificent
huge heirloom. yay! other half for tomorrows brekkie.

Nicola Sturgeon, Donald Trump, and Vladimir Putin all die and go to hell.
While there, they spy a red phone and ask what the phone is for.
The Devil tells them it is for calling back to Earth.
Putin calls Russia and talks for 5 minutes.
When he was finished the devil informs him that the cost is a million dollars, so Putin writes him a cheque.
Next Donald Trump calls the U.S. and talks for 30 minutes.
When he's finished the devil informs him that the cost is 6 million dollars, so Trump writes him a cheque.
Finally Nicola Sturgeon gets her turn and calls Scotland for 4 hours. When she's finished, the devil informed her that there would be no charge and feel free to call Scotland anytime.
Putin and Trump go ballistic and ask the devil why Nicola Sturgeon got to call Scotland free.
The devil replied, "Since Nicola Sturgeon became First Minister of Scotland, the Country has gone to hell, so it's a local call."

I phoned my local radio station today.

When the guy answered the phone he said, "Congratulations on being our 1st caller, all you have to do is answer the next question correctly to win our grand prize."

                        "Wahoo!" I shouted in delight.

"It's a Maths question," he said. "Feeling
                        confident?"

"I've got a degree in Maths and I teach it at my local school," I proudly replied.

"Okay then, to win 2 VIP tickets to see the President and have coffee with him ...whats 2 plus 2?

                        "7," I replied.

"They don't mess around at Air Traffic Control," I replied.

He turned up at 3pm, looked at the exam paper and said, "Looks like I am going to need a pen for this job - I will have to pop round to my suppliers for one. Be right back."

He came top of his class.

Re: 14th of the month before November...

                          Good morning Abbers,

Mick, what a great collection of jokes - how do you do it? Loved the bunny pics too - it seems like you can see Bonnie dreaming up some escapade.

Det, wonderful to hear your tomato story... we are far far away from tomatoes now, but I could almost taste yours from the description. Glad you found true Mexican food, and happy for your date.

Pauly, oh dear, that's disgusting! But not as bad as me cooking up some veggies for the dog, putting them on the stove, open, to cool under the range exhaust fan, and coming back in the kitchen at 9:30 pm to close all up... and found mouse poop in the veggies. Truly turned my tum and I was in a rage. I have searched and searched and can't find where it got in, unless from the back of the stove. I turned the oven on to 400, just to let them know I am serious. No more signs since then. Uuugh. Country living...

Lav, you are so funny - "the elderly". How are you feeling nowadays - any improvement in your inflammation?

SK, so good to hear from you, I hope the curcumin keeps working its magic. Are the kitties behaving? Hope your rain stops soon.

PPQ, enjoy your long weekend! Inspired by you, I got a half turkey breast, and will crock pot it today. ''Tis the season. As I removed the cover from a chair in the deck, a chunk of ice flew off - I guess it was colder at night than I knew.

I am going down in the dungeon (basement) today to finish up the washing of the walls. What a job - I don't think the basement has been cleaned since the house was built in 1965. I am getting the mold washed away, as I have been reading about mold-removal protocol. I hope this does the trick and we will get and remain a mold-free household. Really ready to put this escapade to bed.

Wishing all well for a happy Saturday. I am traveling to the big city tomorrow and may not be able to post - so happy Sunday to all as well.

Mae everybody,Mick, that's the cutest pic of the bunnies ever! Cyn,we had mice back in the spring, use poison and hadn't heard a peep in months, then I heard one scratching the other day and seen the hole in the wall where it dug through so it's city living too,the whole street has been complaining about them so I guess they're coming from somewhere close,Lav,Rome had to get a penicillin shot yesterday cuz his ear infection was still bad,doc didn't want to give him anymore oral meds cuz he's had diarrhea the past few days and she didn't want to make it worse, went to Lous school last night for his Halloween carnival,we all had fun, much love to all and hope we all have a happy BF Saturday!
I have too much shit to do today and tomorrow to drink:sohappy:

I'm taking care of the "tomorrow me"
Drinkin won't help a damn thing! Will only make me sick for DAYS and that ugly, spacey dumb feeling-no thanks!

I love the stories today, it's nice relief from realizing we have a president who thinks arms sales profit allows butchering.

The carpet is being replaced upstairs and the cats are traumatized, I'm just pissed off.

Mick. those bunnies are adorable, I would love to watch them.

PPQ, ice last night!. The rain has stopped for now and it's about 75.

I want to go out, but cats are scared; Hermi is MIA Misty has made a little pocket by my side as is at least purring.

I went o the car to get something out and realized I was walking pretty darned fine.

                              Hiya Cyn

Det, do you know about Mauviel copper cookware, see Williams-Sonoma. I can't cook with them, too heavy. I have about a $1K's worth - gratis for you.

                                Greetings Abbers,

We had a touch of rain overnight but it's been dry & partly sunny today & cool
I'm actually hoping to do a little painting around the outside doorways tomorrow before it gets too cold out.

Det, a $7 tomato? Really?? I hope you took a picture, ha ha!! Glad you enjoyed your high end tomato & nice on the date

Mick, you sounds as busy as ever, you must run on good batteries, LOL
I hope yo have a productive detecting day tomorrow!

Cyn, I'm feeling pretty good although I can't stay on that restrictive diet 100%. Sometimes you just need a cracker or something crunchy, you know? I would say the skin inflammation is 90% better. If I hadn't used the sample sunscreen last weekend (given to me by the allergist) I'd be practically all clear by now. Boy, I reacted to that stuff in minutes. Glad I just dabbed a few drops on my neck & none on my face - geez. I am obviously reacting to some chemical substance but which one?
I hope you enjoy your trip to the city & forget about the mold for a day. Are you using bleach to clean the mold?

Pauly, sorry your little guy is still under the weather. I hate it when kids get sick.
                                Louie's carnival pictures were awesome.

SK, do you need a kitten sitter so you can go out for a bit? I thought they didn't care if people were home or not, haha!
Glad your rain has ceased, hope it stays dry for a while. It's good to get out & about when you can. I get crazy if I stay home too many days in a row.
I am SO ready for election day - November 6 can't come soon enough for me. We have to start getting rid of these nasty old dinosaurs in Washingtn - they can take their damn swamp with them

PQ, I hope you day has been awesome!

                                Have a nice night everyone!
