    Hi guys, thought I'd stick my head in to say hello to you all. I'm not spending as much time as I used to checking the boards but I always jump into here to see how my mods mates are doing.

    So good to see familiar faces in here. Makes me feel 'all's well in the world'.

    Good morning Tawny & all mods people,

    Not been checking in regular myself...Not been doing to good on the drink front actually...And i dont like drinking and posting on here...I always dreaded reading what i wrote the next morning..

    We need another catagory..

    & 3 sheets to the wind..

    That would be one messed up board..lol...

      I've missed you, Tawny. I was reading your post about anger yesterday, and I have wondered the same thing about anger (or stress) and alcohol. I'm dealing with my entire visiting family right now, and I got really angry because they made dinner plans without including me, and I called to see what we were going to do, only to find that they were at a restaurant. I had to work to keep moderation in check, and it was hard. I think I did okay, but I do have the same problem. It's just hard to deal with any negative experiences because we have always had the perfect remedy. The hypno CDs have helped me in the past, but you don't always have the opportunity to find a quiet place. Anyway, you didn't start this here, and it may be going on on another board, but I'm glad to see your lovely flower (lily?)

        Hi everybody, just enjoying a slow morning after a busy night...
        The cafe has been insane lately! Where are all of these people coming from? And they all want it NOW!! LOL Good thing we're fast! I hate when I barely have time to pick on people or tell em jokes though, but I usualy manage to squeeze in a few.

        Tawny-:l Always great to see you! I must've just missed ya on board last night. Will check after work tonight for ya.

        Macks- Good to see you too. Sorry you've been having a tuff time. Glad you're back. You know what you have to do... Get back up & do it again!
        I agree, it could get to be an ugly board with a bunch of "pissed posting" It gets confusing enough as it is!

        Sophia- I'm sorry about your inconsiderate family. That sounds mean. And you know what they say about mean people..."THEY SUCK!"
        I have a hard time with my drinking, when I'm hurt & angry... Really have to be extra vigilant at those times especially.

        My poor old truck hasn't been running too well lately, Hubby's trying to figure out what's wrong with it. Hoping I don't need a new engine. If I do... we know someone that has one that'll put one in it for me for a good price. I just hate the idea of being w/out a vehicle for a week or so...
        Keeping my fingers crossed that it's maybe not something that major...
        I like my old truck, it gets me to the river! And pretty much anywhere else I want to go!
        The only thing worth stealing is a kiss...:flower: zwink:

          Just a quickie to say I have not disappeared but like several others have just had no free time to get on to the computer. I have been baby-sitting my lovely grand-daughter amongst other things. Busy busy busy.

          Hope you are all well.

            Hi what a great group today. Tawny it's always so nice to see you.
            Macks sorry you are having a tough time but don't worry about what you post just don't go away!
            Sophia, I would have been furious to have been left out of the dinner plans too!
            Judie, you always keep me coming back and checking in
            Waves, so great to hear from you.

            Today is a nice calm day at home with the kids. I have to take the twins to pick up kindergarten school supplies soon which should be fun. Alec's programming should be set soon (we are hoping to have his new 1:1 aide trained and his teachers trained in autism before he steps foot in the school). Later this month we are being picked up by their school bus and riding with them to meet the teachers and put their school supplies away which is a really great start.

                Hey y'all-west coast evenin to everyone! I seem to be away from the computer more and more these days-work-long days at the pool with the kids, LONG days at the amusement park with the kids (we have season passes) and regular running around! I was AF last night, mods Thur night, and AF all the rest of the week. I have had 1 glass of wine tonight, and likely 1 more tonight. SO far, mods is going fairly well.
                Tawny, great to hear from you! I always love to hear what you have to say, and your photos are as always, amazing! Your place must be a spectacular retreat from the day to day stuff.
                Macks, so good to hear from you as well. I also love to hear from you and Mrs MAcks as well. Sorry things aren't going quite like you would like, but I have great confidence that youcan pull it together soon.
                Sophiah, hope your company treats you like you deserve to be treated. Seems as thpugh you are going way out of your way for them.

                Beaches- LOVED the Wiggles photos! I know I am crazy, but I really did like them. My youngest is 9, is *way* to old for them now, but I still have some Wiggles on my ipod that we both sing and dance to when she thinks her big brothers won't see her!:H
                St.Jude, you must have called yourself SAINT because of all the people you work with?!!!The food industry can have the weirdest customers sometimes Glad you have the rive to * cool off* with!

                    Actually Amethyst, it's kind of a joke that I call myself Saint Jude... It kinda goes WAAYYY back to my heavy drinkin' days, when I used to get (just a bit) sarcastic...and say stuff like, "Well, I'm not a friggin Saint"!
                    Or something along that line...

                    Then I found out that St Jude is actually the "Patron Saint of Lost Causes"... that's got my name ALL OVER IT!:H
