Yes the hiding it bit rings true with me too, we all joke at work about 'Friday night Gin' little do they know that goes into saturday morning and continues until Sunday afternoon when I gratefully at this stage still able to sober up for Monday morning. What a waste of life eh!

Hi Dorilynn, you have come to a good place. I have been here for over a year but just now am 9 days AF. I guess I am a slow learner. I used to drink every day for over 30 years. Always a 6 pack of beer to start, sometimes stopping at 9 and then 12 at the most. But at least 6 every day. Yikes, that is not good is it? Anyway, I have not felt this good in YEARS, so join in. You will feel great.
