      I can't run anymore(no ACL), but for biking....I like,

anything by Bonnie Raiit- "The road's my middle name" is great
Forever young - Rod Stewert's version is great!
      Till it shines -Bob Segar
Keith Urban- I just pretend he's ahead of me ...keeps my speed up!LOL
      Redneck Woman- Gretchen Wilson
      Cowboy Junkies
      Matchbox 20
Good hard drivin Blues (any of it)
      Dave Mathews
      Mary Chapin Carpenter
      Shawn Colvin
Alan Jackson- (he's up there ahead w/Keith& Joe Nichols)
      Fleetwood Mac
      Old Motown stuff
      Eagles

I guess I've "aged" myself now!

Oh how could I forget... Definately some Stevie Ray Von! And George Strait

        Jude,

I have never listened to Ms Raitt - but as a guitarist, have heard good things about her blues playing - what stuff of hers do you recommend?

        Satori

Great we are all different isnt it......

i power walk but to the sounds of the birds whenever possible..over the fields admiring nature etc.

I do play music in my car on the way to work some days...other days i sing to myself(hopefully not noticeable to other drivers)... I sing anything from Hymns to catchy chart stuff depending on my moods!!

At exercise class its music for an hour and thats fun. My hubby loves music on at home..anything 70s, 80s 90s.

sometimes i prefer to sit quietly in the garden or by a river and just "be". i love the sound of running water and I love listening to the sea and crashing waves...definetly my favourite sounds are those natural ones!!

i like music/imagery meditation tapes but dont get chance often to get horizontal without interruptions!!

enjoty the gift of music whatever your tastes...regards Cassy

Satori, I'm a huge Bonnie Raiit fan. So I reccomend all of her old stuff..."Stayed too long at the fair"
            "Kokomo Blues"
            "Angel from Montgomery"
            "3 time looser"
            "The roads my middle name"

And all of her new stuff!
She's been around the blues neighborhood for a long time!

I served her coffee @ a cafe where I worked in Colorado, & got to talk to her a bit. I was so psyched!
I used to play hours of her on KOTO, when I was a DJ.
