On hearing that her elderly grandfather had just passed away, Katie went straight to her grandparent's house to visit her 95 year old grandmother and comfort her.

When she asked how her grandfather had died, her grandmother replied, "He had a heart attack while we were making love on Sunday morning."

Horrified, Katie told her grandmother that 2 people nearly 100 years old having sex would surely be asking for trouble.

"Oh no, my dear, " replied granny. "Many years ago, realizing our advanced age, we figured out the best time to do it was when the church bells would start to ring. It was just the right rhythm. Nice and slow and even. Nothing too strenuous, simply in on the Ding and out on the Dong."

She paused, wiped away a tear and then continued, "And if that damned ice cream truck hadn't come along, he'd still be alive today!"

Irish and Paula, (and the m-e-n),
I was on a fishing trip in Northern Ontario back in September. It was freaking cold and rainy, so i spent a lot of time in the lodge, drinking wine and knitting. I was making a scarf (that's all I can make, LOL!), and the men kept coming into the lodge in between their fishing trips and asking what I was making. I would say "a SCARF" and I cannot tell you how many said "you should make a bikini" and "all you would need is just that one thread, I'm sure that would be enough for a thong bikini". PIGS!
I'm still not finished that scarf.... better get crackin.

Phew...Wow.....clickety click, clickety click, thats the noise of my knitting needles....Of course Nick you do realise that as a professional knitter I take a great pride in my work so you will be required to pop over to my place for several ahem...ahem....fittings!!!!
