SERVES 1 , 1 Mug
Ingredients
1 cup low-fat vanilla ice cream
1/4 cup skim milk
1/4-1/2 teaspoon mint extract
2-4 drops green food coloring (optional)
2 Oreo cookies, frozen and cut into quarters
Directions
1Place ice cream in blender, pack down.
2Mix extract and milk, pour into blender.
3Add Oreos, mash into ice cream.
4Run blender at lowest speed for 10-30 seconds, stop and scrape ice cream from sides into center.
5Repeat until texture is as desired, usually only 2 times.
6Suggested variations include: M & Ms rather than Oreos, orange juice and orange extract instead of milk and mint, 2 tbs peanut butter and no flavor extract, light coffee ice cream and no flavoring extract, or chocolate syrup and bananas.
7Serve in a chilled mug.
BANANA BLIZZARD
1 (6 oz.) can frozen fruit punch from concentrate
2 bananas, cut into chunks
2 c. milk
1 pt. vanilla ice cream
In a blender, combine half of the ingredients. Blend until smooth, about 15 seconds. Pour into tall glasses. Repeat the same steps with the remaining ingredients. Serve with straws. To decorate, add a piece of fresh fruit.

Method
fill your cup 2/3 of the way full with ice cream
drizzle in a very small amount of milk
stir to desired consistency
it should be thicker than a milkshake
