    Applesauce

    In a saucepan, combine apples, water, sugar, and cinnamon. Cover, and cook over medium heat for 15 to 20 minutes, or until apples are soft. Allow to cool, then mash with a fork or potato masher.

    This is not perfectly smooth applesauce like you would find in a store. It is much better tasting.

    If you you make a lot more of it be careful of the water. Like if you quadruple the apples do not quadruple the water. The apples add their own liquid and it will get runny.
