I'm now reading The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. This is my Halloween read. I always read something of the magical or spiritual ilk this time of year. The Night Circus dosen't disappoint. The story pits rival magicians against each other in a late-19th-century circus whose enchantments are often truly enchanted. Morgenstern is an engaging storyteller, and she leaps between locations and time periods. I love that. It did remind me somewhat of Ray Bradbury's novel Something Wicked This Way Comes!

I'm almost done with The Night Circus. I'm normally not a fan of the mystical/supernatural but I got hooked on this book before I realized the premise of it. LOL It's a good book. You and I have always had similar tastes in books
