      Just got back from a workout - it really amazes me how physical activity can contribute to my overall well-being and therefore my sobriety.

      I hadn't worked out since Friday and I could tell. Just felt a little 'off' the last couple of days, but halfway through felt like my normal old self (well okay, except for the extra pound or two I picked up free eating all the leftover Thanksgiving crap in the fridge).

      So, for those of us who haven't incorporated exercise into their program, give it a shot. You might be surprised at the results.
      Sobriety Date: June 15, 2007 -- "It's not having what you want, It's wanting what you've got...."

          Glad to see you back Cy!

          AA, I just did a little, VERY little jog/run workout on the treadmill. I am going to give some of the other outa shape MWO'ers just a wee bit of competition in Dublin, in June... at least by gawd I don't want to be dragging in, last! And, yes, if feels great to be working out again... I had a layoff of a couple of months or so. Ick.

          Oney that new Santa is so hot that even I feel a bit warmer, looking at him...

            I am back from the doc, the auto mechanic (yeah, again) and the nail salon.
            Ironing is done, coffee is on a timer, and I am ready to unwind, have an herbal tea and take a nap. All clear for work tonight. She did put me on a strong antibiotic for 10 days though. Yuck. I just finished the Z-oack (strong antibiotic). I better pump up my immune system.

                Time for bed for me. Will hopefully be in better spirits tmr and feel like my head is not full of cotton wool, and my mouth isnt tasting yuk.
