    My Way Out Vs. AA

There are practical reasons not to got to AA for me. For one, I'm not convinced I come under the description of 'full blown' alcoholic - (I've had problems with drinking but never drank spirits), stopped sometimes, never drank when I was pregnant...I don't want to be labelled, somehow, and like someone else said - I can just about deal with myself sometimes - without dealing with the dramas of other people all the time who have worse problems. (Maybe I'm prejudiced, I know).

But the main reason it would be difficult to go to meetings is that it is difficult per se to go to things in the evenings when you have a small child. It is just more stressful sometimes knowing you have one more thing you have to go to, organise, find babysitter...e.t.c.
