I think in some bizzare way the inabitiy to punish my body as I did say in my 20s is one of the reasons I srcreamed ENOUGH. If I had have had say 6-8 pints last night, which would have been a small amount for a sat night and stayed up till 4 am I would be in bed till 1pm and feeling crap. Chances are hair of the dog would be going down the pub at about 3pm staying till say 7 and then coming home for food and opening a bottle of wine which wouldnt last the night. Total total crazyness. Why does it take years till the penny finally drops. Probably a bit dim I suppose.Zeppie2;744003 wrote: I have experienced that hangover feeling too, it's horrid, and to think we put overselves through that regularly
Oh and hello Grim

I feel like that sometimes, but once I rub the gunk out my eyes I feel fine. It is funny how guilty I feel for a second or two though.KTAB;743999 wrote: I actually thought for a split second when I woke that I had been drinking loads last night. That is a bit weird. Mind you I did have that feeling a few times ages ago and it was a relief then to find I hadnt been.

I had a medical for the first time in years and my liver readings came back high and as did my colesterol, and I dont eat animal fats. Fatty liver I guess, anyway I was told to stop drinking. Which I did about 18 months later after drinking daily. I havent had it checked since.Zeppie2;744013 wrote: It took my liver aching to actually make me get the picture

I used to get that Zeppie, sometimes for days at a time I couldn't move, literally. I'd stop for a few days, feel fine and start the same old bollocks all over again. What an idiot! But it's a thing of the past thank God!Zeppie2;744013 wrote: It took my liver aching to actually make me get the picture
