Army Thread 18th December
Hi Buck, me young Bucko, I can confirm that JC speaks the truth. It just gets better and better after another few days. For me the AL fog started to lift, I started to feel half human again and ten years younger. Stick it out, I promise you wont regret it.
Oh and hi JC, I see gazza is reported falling off the wagon again. Very sad.Ethanol is a toxic chemical, why would I drink it?

I am Starty.
JC you are right I imagine. I read his biography a few years ago and he appears to me to be just a big kid, the class clown. A fantastic footballer in his day who never had to make decisions and had plenty of hangers on along for the ride. Did you see the documentary his family made about a year or so ago trying to intervene and get him back into rehab?Ethanol is a toxic chemical, why would I drink it?

Yes it is never easy viewing to watch someone in distress. Atfer a few days dry he ended up intentionally starting a row with his wife to enable himself to have an excuse to hit the bottle again and dissapeared off on a bender for about 4-5 days. I may be judging him unfairly, but the reason I know this is, I did exactly the same in my past.Ethanol is a toxic chemical, why would I drink it?

I have had the most unproductive day.
The contents of the conservatory are now in the lounge, the dining room is now in the conservatory and I've got half a bedroom in the hall. I trying to re-arrange the furniture and gave up.
But I've got a new dress
It could be worse, I could be filing.

My honest opinion is that after we have walked the path that finds us here at WMO we all need some AF time under our belts to enable us to think and see clearly again. At times we cant see the wood for the trees. If you decide to drink again after only 3 days you are doing yourself a disservice. My advice would be give yourself some more time and see how you feel, take it odat if neccessary. I promise you, you wont regret it.06F150STX;776775 wrote: What happens if I have 1 or 2 on the weekend? That's what I'm scared of.
