Evening all

Thank Feck the cool change is here!

I've been working outside all week (starting a 7am and working 'till about 3pm)

I am truly knackered...

Have to admit to 4 beers last night, in front of the air conditioner, post a 43C day...

Jesus, if that"s not an excuse when Modding, what is?

Have been working in St Kilda, so been at the beach for half hour twice a day, Having a swim and an ice cream

Nice and cool now..20C (It was 34C at 6am this Morning)

I reckon I'll be in my nice cool bed sooner than later

Morning folk's,
Coolous Gious reporting in. As my local milk bar proprietor from yesteryear used to say in her Greek/Aussie accent........'Ah, the weather the weather, ah, yes boy's'. (after years and years of 16 hr day's, schooling the kid's, watching them grow and leave the nest, they retired to Greece. Maarvellous.)

On a more serious note. Waves, beware the 'reward' mode of thinking, and the word 'excuse'. (if i understood your post correctly) These are serious fork's in the road, that if we don't banish them from our thinking, we can be back on the road to nowhere. An ice cream and a swim in the bay i'd call a reward. Just sayin'.

23c forecast today, and for rest of week i think.

Hi all
Well its meant to be 42 on Sunday and its looking like my eldest tee-ball carnival might be cancelled due to the heat which will be a shame as my mum & dad have never seen my eldest play a tee-match before. But hopefully the Saturday carnival wont be cancelled. It looks like we will be getting your heat....oh the joys.......
Well today we are heading to the beach to build a sandman, as my boys miss the snow and their snowmen so we are going to try and build one out of sand....my mum's idea not mine, ive never seen a sandman with a carrot and a scarf on him before. If its any good I will try and post a picy on here

Good afternoon Folk,
At long last there is a cool breeze, and what's looking like rain on the way.
How's it going Fickle ? Headaches have abated here at last, and also copped a better night's sleep last night as well. How are you feeling on the good Dr's diet ? Does it look sustainable ? I am 3 days down, weighing and measuring carefully until I get the hang of it.
The funny thing about supplements is that they're pretty much the same as MWO ones, so I'm just sticking to the same routine with supps. Just eating three regular meals, and it's PLENTY. This food is super filling.

All missions completed, and time for a bit of a session on the pay TV. Getting right into the healthy lifestyle type programmes these days.

Hi all. Well I borrowed a friend's shredder. Bugger me. I broke it! Now I'm going to have to fork out and buy her a new one. I can't afford it! Next week is going to be very slim pickings for food.

Anyway, it's Day 10 for me today. I woke up this morning with a terrible craving tho. I didn't dream about drinking, so I don't know where it came from, but very unsettling.

Awww - you remembered!!
It's brilliant to be working again...have some purpose other than 'Mum I'm hungry, Mum he's not sharing' etc etc. I love my kids but I'm not one of those 'world revolves around them' mothers. I strongly believe that being me,independently, with adult interests & friends & outings makes me a better Mummy. One of the best compliments I ever got was from a friend (also with kids) who said "I'm so glad we don't have to talk about the kids all the time"- and she wasn't a drinking buddy either...I miss her actually.
I'm gonna send her an email right now.

Day 10 is incredible lovey....keep it up.
Angel....... I couldn't agree more.....we are MUCH better Mums if we are modelling to our kids that we're NOT a doormat or a bore....we are outstanding, independent women who have a life apart from them....it's not a bad thing. Our example will build them into strong, well rounded men..... who respect women......

Great going on 10 day's af, Sky. That is a huge achievement, and you should be very proud. Unfortunately, the cravings will likely come and go for awhile yet, but they do get less and less, as our mind's start to move slowly, what?, yep, SLOWLY away from the habit.
