morning Sapphire, It was great to be up at that time, its been a long time since I got up that early, I think even my chickens were shocked, mind you I hav'nt done much since I did get up, spending a lot of time on here, its helped me so I'm not going to worry.

Morning Zenners, Oney and Aspy, Girls thanks for the larfs this cold Fridi morn...warms the cockles of me ollld heart...thanks for the news reprt Tawn on the merits of chubsters in the sack and all....mind you after a few years of celibacy ya cant be too fussy canya?:H:H (speakin for me poor self that is).....Aspy I've got the odd tattoo as well, not so odd really and in quite respectable places...thinking about getting another one..any suggestions..something meaningful and not tooo trite...thought about getting "FUCK OFF AL YOU OLD BASTARD" on me forearm....what ya reckon folks?..........suggestion warmly welcome

It doesnt hurt to spend a lot of time here Lilly, especially in the early days...it takes your mind off things and as you get to know the people here it becomes like a big extended family...of people from all over the world who know how you feel, and wont judge you and its such a relief to be able to say what you are thinking without having to explain isnt it. I have been here since the 10th JUly and its the best thing that I ever done for my sobriety, and I have done a lot of different things and tried a lot of treatment options. I check in here inthe morning for about an hour and then again after tea for about the same and its great. I have learned so much from all of the wonderful people here who have so much wisdom and experience and kindness. It doesnt matter if you stay here all day does it...when we drink, think of all the time we waste then....:H

Morning all, and you are absolutely right there i reckon Saff. Waking up early without a hangover, and sober, is better than winning the lottery, and just the best feeling all round. There are NO negatives in being sober. It is all just win win, win win, any way you look at it. Nice to see you Lilly.

Well, it's a very lazy day here for the young fella this morning. Just been hangin out over on the test bed. Geez, what a blast, and so relalaxing, meditative. Somehow i alway's come away from there a better bloke.
Got in around 4 am ish i think, semi-satisfactory crumpi, in the way that said crumpi likes the music playin all night, and the light's on ish. Err, NO. It's been swell, thank's for the $20 in advance for my new C.D. good night, and that is all. Of course, i shall buy her lunch today when i return her car that she graciously lent me to go home with and get some SLEEP. First day of me hol's, so chillin, chillin, chillin'. Some sneaky AL thoughts creeping up today. 51 days AL free today and have noticed some unsettling niggling thoughts about bottleshops and stuff. I think it may have something to do with the fact that the doc has put me decongestants to clear up my ears and nose after that bout of illness. They have pseuephedrine in them and there was a time when I was quite partial to anything like that...maybe there is a connection to the hyped up metabolism, feeling a bit more wired than usual and feeling like a drink? Anyway I will have to back peddle a bit harder and hang around the boards a bit more until this gnawing feeling passes

Yip Guitarista got 5 chooks, keeps us in eggs, and more, having to give some to my kids, the grandkids thinks its great getting eggs from nanas farm, got to laugh really, farm were on 2 acres, It is a great feeling getting up and no hangover, but it would also be nice to win a fare amount on the Lotto, o well can't have everything !!!! :no:Lilly x
