You've got me going now. The son and heir's coming home for a weeks holiday. Think I'll get a Turkey for the weekend., and I've got a Christmas pudding left from last year.

I forgot to say when I was rummaging round in me sewing stuff the other day, I found me flight confirmation from last year.

It's a year ago today that I booked me flight to Belfast.

Gonna have Christmas songs on and tinsel in my hair when the kids come back from school Ktab.....they will think that is very funny and it is all about them....now where is that mistletoe? Might even give Wob a Christmas wotsit..

Yep it was the 17th October 2009 that I flew. It's Opal's birthday too.

Was home a few weeks and got a message to say she was pregnant. She must have been overcome with emotion at meeting me.

Dont mention credit cards, mine is well into five figures in the red and that doesnt include the decimal points. Thats what happens when you try and prop up a business with credit you dont have.

KT, when I saw how much we actually owed on various cards, top up loans and even me stupid Next account I nearly died.
Luckily we've got a great charity over here called the Consumer Credit Counselling Service that has put us straight, given us a monthly budget, got in touch with the creditors and arranged a payment scheme for us.

Who would have thought a lawyer and an ex-bank clerk could have got themselves into a knot like this.

Honest to god it was worse than admitting I am an an alcoholic.

I am going to follow up with a call back later this morn but by head is all blocked and I keep sneezing, not a very professional sound
I have something else cooking which I expect to hear about tomorrow too. Never give up, thats the trick. Bit like this sober lark.
Have you guys ever listened to any of the AA speakers tapes online? I have been for a few days now, some great stuff in there.
