, Great going on your sober Christmas party! It's so wonderful not having to feel guilty, ashamed, embarrassed, hungover...well, we could all think of a few more things to add:H. I had a sober party last year and plan to do the same this year. Enjoy your weekend get-away! I know you must be missing your mum-two months is really not a long time at all-so its all still fresh in your mind. :l Hope you can surround yourself with loved ones this holiday season-and of course you've got us lot on here

Starty, this is my 3rd christmas now without mum and I'm still lonely a bit, but as they say it does get easier - first one was tricky alright but unlike me I know you're not going to fall into a bottle to 'help' it along! Be gentle with yourself tho - today is my Dads 37th anniversary and I still think of him:l
