No problem ktabs, that's what friends are for. I always ended up regretting my drunken posts, so I don't do it any more. I think chat or PMs are a much better solution under those circumstances. Good on you for pouring the rest of the poison away.

Have to nip out to the shop now and then I'll probably try and get some sleep. Laters.

Stirly, it's hard to see how Greece can remain in the eurozone in the long run, regardless of the outcome of the referendum, because the austerity measures required of it by the rest of the eurozone countries are simply too onerous and the pain being felt by the Greek people will go on for too long (decades). In order to become competitive and begin to grow again, Greece needs to return to a devalued drachma and default on all of its debt.

The policy makers are in denial and are doing what they do best, which is kicking the can down the road. Trouble is, they're rapidly running out of road.

A number of Greek banks have lent a lot of money to the Greek government, so if Greece defaults on its debt those banks may go bust and obviously the Greek government will not be in a position to bail them out. I would not want to have money in a Greek bank right now.
      Agree 100% with the above.

Going home to Ireland next year for a visit....been hearing lots of bad stories.....so we shall see how things lie. My brother is trapped in the negative equity. Hope things start to pick up soon but it doesn't sound like it will.

Heaps of Irish in Australia these days, everywhere I go I hear accents......swear there wasn't that many last year.

Hi Ellaq, if I was 20 years younger I would be gone, the country is in the doldrums and will be for the foreseeable future.

Honey I'm home, stick the kettle on there's a love.

Well that took less time than I thought. Just had a good clean at the dentist, hurt a bit, but I was a big brave girl and don't have to go back 'til February. He likes to see me every 3 months as he :h me sooooooo much.

Nipped into the town to get Black Bess some herbal type calming pills. Poor soul is really getting the jitters with the fireworks this year and some of the little no nowts from round here have gone their hands on them and letting them off early.

And I picked up my forms for some further training.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

                :hallo: Army

Mid-afternoon check-in. Another beautiful day in Cape Town. Let's hope it lasts. It is the windy season, though, so not very likely.
                I'll do whatever it takes

I'd love a nana nap but I'm a mummy still to a mental 6 yr old... who is about to go to Beavers for an hour... oooh the possibilities... quiet time until my violin pupil turns up

Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning.
