    Hi Saucy and Cakes,

    I can imagine how locust feels. When I read the manual, ok, glanced at it, there was talk of micro sims, so I thought gr8! have to wait till 2morrow, but thankfully mine fitted. You tube reckons you can cut them to fit or summit.

    Unnecessary wars and conflict between people really is a waste of good time and energy Frog. Human ego means we're stuck with it sadly. I hope you're going ok there.

      Popping in to say hello! Tawny - rather than adopting a dog and just helping that one dog, I'd suggest volunteering at a shelter and being able to walk and pet lots of them. You'll get your fix of face-washes and the dogs get out of those horrible little cages for a while. Just a thought.

      G-man did you get the S4? I want a new phone!! I think I want the HTC DNA. My friend told me all these negotiation techniques to get everything included for free in the upgrade if I just threaten to leave them or something. I'm not much good at it so I may just have him do it for me.
      Well it's all right now. I've learned my lesson well. You see you can't please everyone, so you've got to please yourself.

                As far as having a dog. I have one. He is our child in many ways. There are upsides and downsides to having a dog. One can't just take off for a while, you must make sure someone is around to feed and care for them, etc. Cats can be left alone for a while as long as there is plenty of food and water and somewhere for them to go to the bathroom.

                I love this joke about dogs, though.

                If you want to know who loves you the most, your husband or your dog, lock them both in the trunk of your car for 30 minutes. When you open the trunk, see which one is happy to see you.

                  My girl is my favourite person.
                  We sleep together and spend every minute we can together.
                  She eats my apple cores and agrees with everything I say.
                  I tried to train Mr G the same way but he is disobedient.

                        She's a Golden Retriever Cindi. My third.
                        But I'm a real dog person.
                        I'd loathe to be without one.
                        I also stalk other people's dogs and try to make them love me.

                          I love dogs and cats. Differently, of course.

                          Poulan, my dog, is very spoiled.

                          He sleeps in bed with us every night, eats our scraps, and loves to just "hang" with us.

                          But, he spoils us, too.

                          He is a mutt. Showed up the week of my 50th birthday on my driveway.
