Well Ragsy, I'm just in the door and the fire is still being installed. Only a few minutes to go and I'll be heated..... It looks fanmazing and I'm stoked....pardon the pun!

I was given a really pretty bunch of flowers this afternoon from someone I helped but hardly did - if you get my drift. It made me feel special......aaaaahhhh - noiceness.

I'm cooking FH a roast to celebrate the installation.....poor pet hasn't even brushed his hair today. Too busy supervising is why. I bet these blokes run when the job is done. They started at 7.30 and just finalising.

I've rediscovered my absolute adoration of mahjong.....every time I wanted to rip someone a new one today I just did a quick slide, flick, search and stress diminished. Suffice to say I got bugger all done - which actually is pretty usual for a Monday and the command desk. Surprisingly I'm not feeling too bad which is a change for a Monday. I also reckon it pays to wear a "don't mess with me today" look from the get go!

Ahh Birdy, what a helpless feeling it is when your kiddy has something you can't seem to knock on the head. The facility seems to really help her though if I remember, doesn't it?

Going a few rounds on the bag is a tried and true effective anger management strategy. But I can come to your class, fly across the room and walk on the ceiling if you think that'd help? Of course, i'd be expecting dinner.

We have to do a risk management module for that one. It's pretty pricey, but they reckon there's plenty of job opportunities, being a growth industry and all that.

Morning all,

I'm excited about todays 'disciplinary meeting' at work. Idiots haven't followed policy and procedure/due process and have fast forwarded straight to discipline mode without the 'counselling' bit, i.e. having a chat at ground level as to what the issue is and how can we fix it. I think there'll be nothing in it. Seems like it's designed to irritate me. I'm being disciplined for staying back late after work without getting the okay from manager, as I was issuing a P.I.N. notice for workspace not being safe. I wasn't comfy ringing me boss saying I want to stay back so as I can issue a notice against youse for putting people in an unsafe building. Workspace/building was confirmed by worksafe as not building code compliant and 'fix it now guys'. I think their little ego's are working overtime here. Anyway, I have a union rep with me for the legal and proper process stuff. My approach will be a laid back and totally co-operative one, and i'll just let the facts speak for themselves. Of course, I am fuming inside. When my own org put barriers in my way to doing the frontline direct service work for no good reason, that gets me wild. Taking a week and a half orf after today. I think it's time to write a formal complaint to the CEO, as there have been a few improper process issues. Having said that, I love the job, and what my org stands for, love my immediate team, and I hope to continue there.

Not so cold this morning.

Broke down in my new Peugeot 308CC. I hate this car - I just want it to go away..... Tow truck man and I had a huge fight. I said sorry - he didn't.... People yelled abuse at me when I was stranded in the middle of a MAJOR intersection during peak hour...no-one even looked like helping me......

Just so over it all today.

We had a birthday party for our gorgeous accountant at little lunch. I ate cake......made me very sad.

Techie - you can come for pizza at my place. I have no oven, can't cook and I'm not in a good space. Should be a hoot for you!!! Hope you're resting and not being a die hard .... just sayin'.

My face is bright red from being anxious.....

Oh well, it could be worse. I could have my meeting with the hair yanker today instead of Thursday....

Nicey, I may have an extra Alaska ticket. Seems my kid thinks she may fail a class, meaning she would have to take credit repair, which falls during our trip..well, I wouldnt have the heart to go without her, so I would have 3 non refundable tickets....not sure about the failing part tho...sounds like you have had a rough day.....I think we must get Techie a suit of armour and Mr. G a super hero costume...

Oh no Birdy!!! The tilt of our Universe is currently skewiff....hang in there friend. Gosh, I hope it all works out ok. It's no fun losing money.

Yep, I'll run some suitable costumes up for our lads when I get a second or two. Both in stunning shades of pink....perhaps with a few glittery, sparkly, dangely type thingies.....don't worry, I won't go overboard. They will be stylish, eye catching and nooiiiiccce......
