With anything apple, you're more or less forced to have only apple apps upgrades etc.

I have a Viking cooktop. Four BIG burners but the center has this griddle thingo which I hate. I can grill all year round outside so this is useless. Made bacon and sausage on it for guests one time. Never again

Pretty good Techie, only cooked a couple of meals onnit, but everyone loved the thai style pumpkin soup on Sat night. It blissfully has no bits and pieces where food and grunge can accumulate. Did I post a piccie of it?techie;1535183 wrote: Rags how is the cooktop going?
Which reminds me, I better get off here and scoot to the metal people. Mr Rags said yes, get them to fabricate a piece that goes up the splashback. It should be ready.

My Ilve had a plate like that too. Weighed a ton. They called it a teppinyaki plate. It was a pain in the arse.techie;1535186 wrote: I have a Viking cooktop. Bought a smeg when we did renos at our other place.. it was a top and oven combined . I loved it. I went for a separate wall oven as I didn't want to be bending over all the time getting stuff in and out. In hindsight, I'd love to have another all in one unit... a super Smeg.
That looks a fairly large cooktop though Techie.
Hang on and I'll take a pic of the new cooktop..
This new cooktop is about 4" narrower than the old one. I was surprised at the difference it makes when trying to arrange several pots on the top.

Talking of getting off bums.... I just had a phone call from a coach in S.A. He gave me a couple of tips, one of which was "elegance" .myhappyplace;1535184 wrote: Mmm...did actually mean explain "love" for phone but anyway :H...all the apps in the world won't get people of their bums and doing stuff...and I'm speaking now out of frustration ...
