    Army thread 24th August

Oooh....excitement!!! I'm off to Cambridgeshire tomorrow morning to view three Kennel Club registered black and white female pups! I've seen a video of them on FB and they're beautiful. They're over 7 weeks old already and will be ready from Thursday! The only snag is it's over 100 miles away. :upset:

Morning all! (Shout out to EW - wellcome back )

Hope everyone is well today. I am helping my daughter paint her bedroom today (the girls now have their own rooms...la dee dah! My buttcheek still hurts from my unfortunate "Hey I can still do gymnastics even though I am almost 49" incident. and woke up with some kind of pinched nerve or something in my back....nothing painting ceilings for 3 hours won't fix, right? lol Other than that, I am happier than a pig in poop

Slept in an ENTIRE HOUR this morning, so missed my morning meditation. Hoping that the girls leave me alone at least for 20 minutes to get a quick one in (that sounded nasty). Satz - I am signed up for Reiki classes as well! Team Reiki! Wooot woooot!

Talk later folks - happy Saturday!

It's a Hoover, special powerful cordless for cleaning the car. I know Dyson are very good but ?250 spend would double the value of the car when it's in there.

My Mum's having a BBQ JC but it's dreary over here and she tends to burn things, well done she says. I like meat just about cooked, bit pink in the middle. Have been to see her and helped her move a freezer.

Deeeeeeeeeeeeelighted for you Reccy. The owner will probably advice on the best to transport the pup.

          Yo Waggers and UKayBee.

Had to laugh at doubling the price of the car.:H

Ach a bit of rain won't put Mr JC off.

Just having 5 mins before I go back in the kit hen.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

Great that you got the evening off sweetie.

Shame about your dad having to give your dog away. I suppose the dog chasing the sheep was kind of to be expected. Don't THINK there are any sheep round here, touch wood.

Glad you enjoyed your course satzy. :goodjob:

dog sounds like a great idea reccie, reminds me of something in a book i read, anthony kiedis' autobiography - major drug addict through most of his life, one of the things he said made it easier was when he bought his dog, if he thought about using again he'd remind himself that the dog had never seen him high. thought that was a nice story.

but i'm so shallow I hate hairs and poo and dog food . Had 2 dogs 'forced' on me by Mr S over the years. Came down to find them just there piddling & pooing in the kit hen :egad:
FFS he never learned to train them - one went wild 'cos we were both working fulltime with 2 young babies. He lived for feckin' years - was old and in pain in the end but he wouldn't get him put down.....
and the other ran under car when Mr S decided to bring him for a walk on a main road and thinking he was being kind decided to take the lead off - to let him run.

Sorry Recstar if I seem down on dogs I'm not - in fact I'm very tempted to get one now myself that we have the time to look after one.
