    In the last 24 hours, these friends have joined me for 24 hours of wellness:

    Today is going to be a darn good day not to drink!
    Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
    Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
    Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

      It's nice to be able to spend a few days at home with Bubba, what's left to harvest (9 quarters) isn't quite ready so I didn't have to hurry back out to the farm as soon as I got home. And there's rain in the forecast so I might get a few days more at home.

          Spent most of yesterday canning salsa. Thank God the tomatoes seem to be slowing down, but there's still a lot of peppers to be picked.

          Glad that you got to spend a few days with Bubba cowboy. There's nothing like coming home after being away.

            Wow Jude! More salsa!! It's really been a good year for tomatoes. Our garden is still putting them out. But the season is definitely coming to an end. Oct. 10 is our usual first frost and that's just around the corner.

            Beautiful full moon last night.

            24 more hours of freedom for all of us here, please and thank you.

              Good morning Cafe. I have been up since 5 am unable to get back to bed. Ugh. Someone posted last night in our local newsletter that they lost a family ring on the beach yesterday. Mr R and I are meeting the woman this morning with our metal detector in hopes of helping her find her ring. Wish us luck. Then we are spending a pool day with friends. Hope everyone has a safe and sober day! 24 more please.

                        Yes dill, the moon was beautiful the other night. Love the harvest moon; the Fall season is one of my favorite time of year.

                              Good morning Cafe. We found the ring!! The woman sat in the sand and sobbed happy tears. It was one of those moments that I will never forget. We are eating breakfast and going out again to see what else we might find. I was high on adrenaline all day yesterday!! Hope everyone has a great Sunday.                                 I think I'll do a bit of shopping today. Clothes shopping is not one of my favorite things, but my grandson needs an update to his wardrobe so I offered to help.
