Re: ~cattleman cafe~ & another 24...

I'll be sending positive thoughts your way today, Rava. I wish you didn't have to endure that. Stay strong. :heartbeat:
I may do the pancake this weekend too. It reminds me of a recipe I used to make years ago called Yorkshire Beef Pie. It was a savory version of it and the beef and veggies were baked into the pancake while it was in the oven and topped with beef gravy upon serving. Mmm

It's going to be another beautiful, sunny day today in South/western Ohio. I wish you all could stop by!

24 more for all of us here, please and thank you.
Dill

Good luck today Rava, hopefully the pain won't be as bad this time around. I had cortisone shots in my shoulder years and years ago and all I can remember about them was the burning sensation, it felt like my shoulder was on fire.

Nothing much to report on here either, just enjoying the mild winter, hopefully it'll stay that way till spring.

Those pancakes look yummy Rava! I hope that the steroid injection isn't too painful today. I've had steroid injections in the base of my thumb before, and yikes did it hurt! My doc said that the smaller the joint that one was injecting, the more painful it would be. I would have to agree with him.

5? F this morning, but it's supposed to warm up this afternoon.

24 more hours of serenity please...

I was contemplating a cortisone shot for my knee but now I'm not sure! Yikes. Sounds brutal. Good luck, Rava. Hope it goes well.

Feeling blessed today. I'll take another.

Ginger, Mr. J has had cortisone shots in his knee, and he said that it wasn't very painful. Probably because it's a large joint compared to those of the hand.

24 more please...

Good morning Cafe. Im back to say I made it. It hurt just as bad as I remember but I made it. Somehow a needle in your knuckle is brutal. I can actually make a fist today so thats progress. They said it’s not arthritis but a sprain in the ligament. UGH. Hopefully this will last a full year like the last shot. Thanks for all the good wishes. Hope everyone has a good Wednesday. No drinking in my day today. 24 more please and thank you!

How did you sprain your finger, Rava?

Jude, thanks for the info. Makes me feel better!

Waves to all! I'll take another!

Glad you got thru it, Rava! Hope it lasts a year and beyond.

It's going to be sunny again today and in the high of 61F! (16C) It's going to feel so good.

First day back to work today... yay!

Sorry that the steroid injection hurt Rava, but being pain free for awhile is worth it.

Looking forward to another 24 hours of freedom...

Good morning Cafe. Ginger, no clue how I sprained my knuckle. I do not recall anything specific other than getting old. Temp 48 this morning. Cold for Florida. Hope everyone has a great day. Everyday that is a sober day is a good day. 24 more please and thank you.

Well, shoot, Rava! Getting old is NOT for sissies, that's for sure.

Beautiful spring weather in AZ. Rattle snakes are out again around here so you have to be aware when out walking in the desert. 🐍 There's been the first snake bite already!

Lovely lunch plans today with a group of ladies. None are drinkers, not that I was ever a day drinker. Non the less, I'll gladly take another!

Not much else to say today. 24 more for all of us here, please and thank you.
