I'll bet you'll have the place looking great in short order Rava. I'm not having any problems with the site so far, anyone else?

What kind of projects did you and your sister do Ginger?

Looks like your rainy weather Jude and dill is headed out our way starting tomorrow, or maybe Mulburry sent it this way lol.

How was your daughter's graduation Slo, I'll bet you're incredibly proud of her!

Had quite a day yesterday, had a flat tire on one of the big dual rear tires on the air cart. The tire guy came out and fixed it, got back seeding only to have it go flat again so out he came again to redo his repair and it held the second time. So it was about 4 hours of downtime for me. I took some pics of the repair and will try and upload them today.

Morning ya'll! Sis and I did some epoxy pours. I had a huge mandala puzzle I needed to coat with epoxy so I could hang it on the wall outside. It turned out well. We also poured three small bowls and sis coated some rocks she'd painted fish on for her water feature. Oh and she cut my hair so it was a busy, full day!

Rava, I'm not having login trouble but I'm sure having trouble with auto-correct. It's probably on my end though!

Thanks for the yummy breakfast, ABC. Sorry about the four hour downtime. I bet that was a hurry up and wait situation for you!

i think I'll start a sewing project today. Not sure what I'll do yet. I just feel like sewing. Enjoy the precipitation, everyone that's getting it. It's much needed around here!

Here's a tangle piece I did for the friend that's letting us use her beach house the end of the month. Tangling is a fancy word for doodling and I love it. It makes my brain happy!

I'll take another day of freedom!

I’m not having any problems with the site, too much. Maybe a couple extra messages about logging in.

Daughter’s graduation was really nice! (Still sad and difficult though to have to be in two different factions, because of being divorced.)
Luckily she got a job pretty near home, so she’ll be close! I just hope she likes the job, so that she’ll stay close.

I rallied yesterday, and functioned almost normally, but have a lot of symptoms today (the fatigue, dysautonomia, foot pain).

That’s too bad about the lost seeding time, Cowboy. I guess that stuff would happen regularly, with all that big equipment.

Your tiny house sounds so perfect, Rava! I would love that. I have all this extra space that I don’t need and can’t manage.

I used to love farmers markets.

Too many rainy days in a row is so hard, Mul.

Best wishes for a good day for all!

Wow, Cowboy! Looks like you made good use of your down time by putting out a fabulous breakfast! We sure lucked out!

Ginger, I loved the tangle! I've not heard that term before so thanks for the clarification. It sounds like you and your sis got a lot done!

Slo, I bet the divorce does wreak havoc on family events and your enjoyment of them. I'm sure I would struggle with that too.

          Hi Rava and Jude!

Not much going on here. Just baking some nut bread at the moment and enjoying the day in general.

24 more for all of us here, please and thank you.

No rain here yet, but it's very cloudy and cool. I don't imagine we'll get in a full day of seeding but who knows with the weather lol.

Here are the pics I took, looks like the best way to fix the tire is to climb right inside it lol.

Good Monday Cafe! Today I am starting back at the local gym here and I found a cheap zumba class I like too. Working on staying busy and definitely this is my happy place! Full weekend with family which was wonderful. Cowboy wow those are some big tires. Also thanks for breakfast! Ginger, is that free handed doodling? If so you are extremely talented! I also love resin crafts. Made a serving tray in a class with resin. Love it. Hi to Jude and Mul and Dill. Slo, you sound like you had a pretty good weekend. Glad your daughter is staying close for now. Wishing everyone a great and sober day! 24 more please and thank you.

Geez cowboy, those are some huge tires! It really shows just how big that piece of farm equipment is.

Ginger, I too was wondering if you drew the tangle piece free hand. It's one of my hobbies, but I could never do anything like the gorgeous picture that you posted. So talented!

I haven't had any problems with this site lately, but every once in awhile I lose half my post. I guess that I can live with that as long as it doesn't happen too often.

Hi diil, rava, Slo , mul!

                    Good morning,

Cowboy, that really puts in perspective just how big those tires and that tractor are!

Ginger, if that “tangle” is freehand then that is absolutely amazing! You are talented. Good point that it makes your brain happy. I guess that’s what we have to learn how to do without alcohol.
Plus your resin crafts, and now sewing! You & your sister sure have fun together.

I managed a bath this morning without getting too sick & dizzy from the hypovolemia. Drank Pedialyte and salted water beforehand, and managed to keep the water cool enough this time. Now resting from the “big event”.

Yes, I had a very nice weekend! Went to Daughter’s college town with my mom & sister. We had dinner with the graduate, and hung with her before the ceremony and after. She was so beautiful in her maroon robe & hat, and with all her cords, sash, & pins! The ceremony was very nice. Pictures afterwards by the river were a bust due to cold, cloudy, & windy.
Ex-HB & his gf and her sisters, the grandkids etc. had a cookout with her & her roommates and their families. Yes, Dill, I am finding family events painful to navigate post divorce. It’s sad & awkward. Hopefully it will get easier.

I’m glad that you were filled with a full family weekend too, Rava!

How did the nut bread turn out, Dill?

And now, onward with our Mondays.

Good morning all! The tangle is freehand but it's based on a picture I saw online. It's so therapeutic for me. I can just zone out. You know how we alkys like to zone out!

Slo, I feel for you. Sometimes that post divorce awkwardness never goes away but sometimes it does! Ill hope that for you.

Wow, that guy inside the tire really puts that size in perspective, ABC. That's a huge feat to repair!

Rava, do you ever think about stopping your southern migration? I do more and more. If it were just me, I think I'd be done. Hubby is still enjoying it so for now, we'll keep going. We will switch to flying once we drive back down this fall. We will leave the jeep and fly home. I'm tired of those 24 hrs road trips with three days on the road. No bueno!

Hey Jude, Mul, Dill! Hope you all have an easy day. I'll take another day of freedom!

Ginger, I concur with all the others who marveled at your tangle. You are quite talented!

Cowboy, thanks for sharing the pics. Definitely puts things in perspective!!! It's a marvel to me that you and others can drive those machines. What a skill.

Rava, you sound really happy and I have to think that at least part of it is because you are not a slave to alcohol anymore. In answer to your question, no I haven't been having any trouble lately with MWO.

Jude, do you think at all about getting another dog?

Slo, I join Ginger in hoping that your post divorce awkwardness goes away over time....sooner rather than later. My nut bread turned out fabulous, if I do say so myself. It wasn't truly just a nut bread. It was applesauce bread with pecans and it was really tasty. I shared a loaf with my son and his kids.

Nothing special going on here today, but it's fine with me. 24 more for all of us here, please and thank you.

Dill, no we aren't going to get another dog as I still have 2 plus the cats. Mr. J and I would love to be able to travel more and the dogs really tie us down. I think in the future we will just have a couple of cats which would make it much easier to go away and have someone check on the cats every couple of days.

Ginger, I can certainly understand about your not wanting to make that long ride every Spring and Fall. That's a lot of miles!

Rava, you seem much happier in your tiny house up North. As Ginger had already asked, do you think that you would ever consider staying there through the winter?

We had a frost warning here last night which is crazy.. It's the middle of May for goodness sakes! I shouldn't complain, as one year we had a couple of inches of snow on Mothers day. Geesh!

Hey cowboy, Slo, Mul, hope that everyone has a great day!

Good morning Cafe. Slo, I am glad your weekend at the graduation turned out well. It was awkward for me for years being around Mr. Rs ex but it has gotten easier over the years and now I think of the ex as his sister. Makes it easier to compartmentalize her presence. Ginger, I could probably live up north full time (although our tiny house is in a seasonal place which you can’t live in year round so we would have to sell it) but Mr. R loves Florida. The truth is who can not be happy in the warm sunshine in the middle of the winter. So no plans to stop the migration. I am happy now with a 7month 5 month split. Hi to Jude and Dill, Mul and Cowboy. I was having a lot of trouble on this site this morning. It asks me to type in my password after every “like”. I signed out and started all over and so far seems to be working. 24 more please and thank you.

Sounds like you and Ginger have the same mindset about staying north year round Rava, do you both think it's because of the travel time, family, or the work involved for each time you change residences?

The nut bread sounds like something I'd enjoy eating dill, send some my way please!

Our furry friends do tie us down Jude, and that's one of the reasons Bubba and I haven't gotten another dog. Bubba does sometimes comment that she misses having Hank around for company when I'm either seeding or harvesting but we both agree that we're better off the way we are now.

I've been divorced for over 25 years Slo and I still find it awkward being around my ex. It's a good thing that there are very few situations that happen where we both have to be in the same room.

Got rained out again yesterday morning so came back to Veg. Sounds like more rain for today and possibly tomorrow so it's just a wait and see for now.
