Hi everyone. Thought I'd post before I get too tired tonight. Jude, enjoy your day of rest. Sounds good to me. The weather is warming up again here and I just went outside to look at the moon and it hasn't cooled down much at all. So much for my Autumn wishes.

Had a lovely chat with Em and her Mum on the phone yesterday. It's the funeral tomorrow. They are holding up. Bridget, invited me to come and stay with them whenever I wanted. It's a lovely beachside town so when things settle down I will take her up on the invite.

Dill, well done on bypassing the liquor store. That takes some firm resolution from you.

Cowboy, hope you got your daughter off to the Airport ok. Family come and go don't they.

Ginger did you take Cyrus with you on your hike or does he slow you down too much?

Hiya Mul. Loved the way you called Australia "down under". It is a familiar phrase for us. Hope your kind weather is hanging around. I just love spring flowers. Daffodils are my favourite flowers.

Brandie usually comes for a visit 3 or 4 times a year Jude, she might end up coming a bit more often now that Amanda has moved back home. Brandie's work brings her to Edmonton often so she usually takes a few extra days to visit when that happens.

Good job on taking the different route dill, no need to poke the beast.

Might be a good idea to go down for a visit once some time has passed Peachie, and you'll get to see your son as well.

Got Brandie to the airport okay, coming home wasn't as nice as it started snowing and blowing again. I'm definitely getting my exercise in lol.

Had a great hike out back with Sis. She loves to walk and is happy to hike but she'd rather just walk on flat ground. Peachie, I used to pack Cyrus when he was younger but he's gotten way too big for that! I just take him in his stroller around the neighborhood these days. Lol (crazy cat lady, here)

Off to exercise then possibly the arboretum. We have tickets to the Mariners game next Wednesday. This is their spring training location. Sis and hubby are HUGE fans!

Peachie, you should definitely take advantage of Bridget's offer and go visit her at the beachside town. It sounds lovely.

I have an infected, painful and swollen finger caused by an ingrown nail. I have a doctor's appointment today which is something that I've put off for far too long. I can't believe that the pain is actually worse than when I broke my ankle a few years ago. Uggh!

My sister has added another week to our seaside vacation this summer and I'm so excited. Two weeks of sun, sand and water. Woo hoo!

Temps around here are supposed to be in the sixties this coming weekend and into next week. After that, temps return to normal, but I'm going to enjoy the warmth while it lasts.

Not much to report tonight. I did watch Emma's Dad's Funeral this afternoon on the internet. It was a lovely service and I didn't cry until Emma got up to speak. She said a lovely Irish Poem which was very moving. Bless her.

Anyone watching anything good on TV at all? Our Aussie Rules Football has started tonight for the Season. Yay.

Ginger I am definitely a crazy old cat lady too. You made me smile thinking of you taking Cyrus out in his stroller

Hard to believe that baseball season is just around the corner Ginger, spring can't get here soon enough for me.

I've been watching curling on tv Peachie. It's the Canadian Men's Brier (championship) on all week and will wrap up on Sunday.

Best get to the Dr as soon as you can Jude and get that looked after. I've never had an ingrown nail so not sure how painful they can be.

Off to Vermilion this morning to pick up the other Bruce! We're going to be dog sitting him today and overnight. It will be the first time he's been here overnight and without Amanda here as well. Should be an interesting time I think lol.

Good morning Cafe. Ouch Jude, I had that pain in my toenails when I was in High school. Horrible pain. I have since learned if the pain starts back up I am able to pack some cotton in the corner of the nail bed which helps with the pain and allows the nail to grow over the skin. Sounds like you need an antibiotic and some repair work. You will feel better soon!! Good luck! Hope everyone has a wonderful day. We are headed for our annual physicals today and Mr. R. Is nervous. He is having some health issues that he keeps ignoring so today they will be addressed. 24 more please and thank you!
