Nice to have the pond level on the rise dill, do you have to re-stock it with fish? I'm sure with the amount of snow we've had this year that our lakes and low spots will fill up as well. Should make for an interesting seeding season.

I would have expected a much nicer place for $180 a night as well Rava, did they come and clean and re-stock the room the room after your first night at least?

Having Bruce over gives me enough dog time Ginger, and hopefully we'll see more of him after the success we had with him this time. Glad to hear you're happy with your new knee, I know how much you love to hike!

Glad to hear that the fridge seems to be working just fine Peachie, would hate to think you'd have to go through with getting another replacement. Was there no way legal wat to recover any of the finances that he scammed from you?

Evening Cafe. Wow what a yummy supper Cowboy. You come up with some delicious recipes. No, there was no way to recover all the money Cowboy as I gave it willingly until there was none left. When I look back I realize how sucked in I became. He was a true narcissist and knew exactly how to play me. It is quite common. Even educated and smart women can fall into the trap. I didn't even know that people like that existed. I had lived a naive life with a good and decent family.

Jude, glad to hear your finger is getting better.

Dill, it must feel great to have the pond almost full. We didn't have a winter in Washington so our reservoirs are about 40 percent full. Our farmers are going to be in trouble this summer and thus, we consumers.

Peachie, your story is just awful. Mean people SUCK!

We had another great desert hike. A little over four miles. Little sis asked if we could have a day of rest today. Lol Hubby loves to hike too but he also loves to play pickleball so he's been doing that while we head to the desert.

We have a 4 hour drive ahead of us. We were gonna leave yesterday around 4 but decided to wait it out hoping the traffic would be better plus Mr. R was tired from not sleeping the first night. Cowboy, awesome breakfast/dinner, yet again! I don't think we will have to restock the pond, but it's a bit too soon to say. The fish aren't very active yet and the water is so murky due to run-off that it's just too hard to tell. We shall see.

Jude with the puzzling, whatever works for you is the best strategy! LOL. It really is a great activity to be absorbed in. Mr. D likes to get involved too. How about Mr. J?

Peachie, I can easily see how one could be drawn in and be taken advantage of. It is all too common I'm afraid. We want to trust the ones we love. It could happen to any one of us.

Good morning Cafe. So glad to be home. I washed all the clothes and took a shower as soon as I got home. All the yuck is gone! Dill I wish I could lend you my underwater fishing camera that you could throw in your murky pond and see what is going on in it. I throw it in our pond and can see the turtles walking around as well as the fish. I hope everyone has a great and sober Monday. I need to stay strong. We have a group of neighbors that keep including us in various evenings that involve drinking and so far I have avoided them all. Tonight is dinner and game night and we are not attending. I feel like such a turd. Anyway 24 more please and thank you.

Dog park yesterday was quite busy. Beautiful Spring sunshine brought out lots of different folks. We had a great time! Today is getting up to 70 degrees F! Wowzers!

Waves to dill, Peachie, and Mulburry!

We were without power for 4.5 hours yesterday afternoon because of the 100km/hr (62 mph) winds! Good thing it wasn't too cold out and the house temp didn't drop too much. The power outage affected a large portion of the whole province so I imagine there'll be lots of cleanup of fallen trees and roof shingles that will need repairing.

Hi everyone. It's so funny hearing you all awaiting warmer weather over there and all of us Aussies wanting it to cool down. A few states here have constantly voted against daylight savings time change. We are the hottest states thru summer and can't wait for the sun to go down. Cooler states love it.

Glad you're home safe and clean Rava. What a horrible experience for you.

Doggie parks here are always busy Dill. Great way to socialize.

I'm joining you all tonight with no wine for me. I ate a huge lunch and really don't fancy alcohol at all.
