It's amazing how we miss the use of one of our appendages when we don't have it Jude, but hopefully after tomorrow you can start the healing process.

Sure hope they can get a handle on Mr R's blood pressure Rava. Thankfully it's one thing that I never have a problem with, but there are many others lol.

There might have been a few cuss words floating through my mind Peachie lol. I used to swear a lot when I was drinking, but that seemed to go when the booze went.

Sounds like you had a great time with the kids Ginger, not often they play out before the adults. Hope your trip went well even with all that rain.

I had planned on doing Bubba's door today but the weather took a turn for the worse. High winds through the night and coming straight in towards the garage. And it appears that winter is back as we're supposed to get 3 - 4" of snow between today and tomorrow. The snow wouldn't stop me but the winds would make it miserable to work in. Probably will wait till Saturday to do it.

Jude, glad your pain is improving. I hope your doc gets you on the best antibiotics for that infection.

Late check in. It was an early morning due to the volunteer job and when I got home I got absorbed in my latest jigsaw! Forgot to check in until now. See you all tomorrow. I hope your finger is better tomorrow, Jude and that Mr. R's BP is better controlled, Rava! That is a worry.

Rava, I sure hope that the docs are able to get Mr. R's blood pressure under control. Sometimes it takes a little time to find the right meds.

Peachie, I hope that Zorro gets the hint that he is no longer welcome. If you have an empty spray bottle laying around, fill it with water, and the next time Zorro shows up give him a big spraying of water. It's an easy way to deter a cat from bad behavior and I use it all the time when my cats get into things.

Cowboy, it sounds like winter doesn't want to go away in your neck of the woods. Hopefully things will warm up enough for you to put the other garage door in soon.

The weather outside is terrible, pretty much a blizzard going on out there through the night and supposed to continue all day today. No sense going out to shovel till the storm passes. Sure glad I don't have to travel anywhere today.

You must have read my mind re a squirty water bottle. I don't have one at home but will check my little supermarket tomorrow. Haven't seen him today but Rose is very nervous of going into the garden by herself.

It's been chilly today and I've put the heater on for a bit this evening. Sure not cold like you get Cowboy!

Been looking at things to get me out of the house today. Meditation and chair dancing (giggle) look good and not far from home. I'm having an assessment for getting some home help on Tuesday. It is a Government run program to help oldies stay at home instead of clogging up nursing homes. I've already told my son not to ever, ever put me in a home. He has been instructed to just bang me on the head and bury me in the garden. Lol. Anyway I've decided to set myself the goal of more social interaction. Still haven't heard from either of my sisters after our tiff. I refuse to reach out as it's always me who does that. I am learning to value my worth.

Oh my gosh, Cowboy! Is this normal weather for you in April? It sounds crazy to me! Keep warm and stay safe.

Ginger, no coyote sightings lately. I think it is still in the vicinity, but not causing any problems lately. The way Lily ran out to the pond barking and with her hackles up leads me to believe it had been there this morning.

Cross post, Peachie! I think joining in on some activities is a great idea. I've heard of chair exercising, but not chair dancing... I can easily imagine how that could be fun. Music really lifts the spirits, too.

Peachie, I do chair workouts three times a week with some oldies. I love it! It keeps me moving. I highly recommend! I hope Rose has seen the last of Zoro.

Dill, Lily sounds like she's hard at work keeping her turf coyote free! It still worries me a little but if it's only one, it's less likely it will go after Lily, unless she has pups, of course!

Jude, how's that finger today?

Good morning all!

Cowboy, stay safe during the snow storm! Do you folks up there ever get Spring? It's going to be a rotten day here with heavy rain and temps in the mid forties. Yuck!

My finger feels much better today. Yesterday I went back to the docs for a recheck and to get the bandages off. The doc said that the incision looked like it was healing well. The cultures and bone biopsy have not come back from the lab yet, so we'll have to wait and see what antibiotics to use.

Chair exercise sounds interesting and I just might have to look into it. I used to do a lot of floor exercises, but I'm afraid that those days are long gone.
