    Re: ~cattleman cafe~ & another 24...

Warm, gray and light rain, snow coming tomorrow.
Yes, Mexico sounding better all the time, lol. I'm always glad I took the DSLR, the extra weight is a pain, but the photos are better.
Got to take a car to the shop, losing anti-freeze and over heating. Always sumpthin'. Grateul to have the $$ to pay for it. The budget is much better since not drinking, lol.
    24 more please.

You know the old saying QW, when in doubt... I vote for taking both, if you only take one it'll be the wrong one lol

Good luck with the car repairs Mr V! I think I mentioned a few months back about having problems with my truck, it ended up costing me $10,500.00 by the time it was done. I had a tough time deciding whether to put that much money into a 2012 truck with 165,000 miles on it. But I like my truck, it's all set up for work, I'm comfortable driving it, I just like it. Anyway, I moped around the house for a few days because of the cost and Bubba said to me; "it could be worse you know, you could still be spending that much money on beer". That darn wife of mine has a way of looking at the bright side of everything!

Another 24 hours, please & thank you.

+28 C in Tulum, Mexico today. 5 more sleeps.

Still haven’t decided on camera gear Cowboy. The point & shoot was fairly expensive and takes great photos. Plus it has lots of creative options. The problem with taking the big Nikon is that I have to take all the attachments (lenses, flash, filters and tripod) and that adds up to about 25 pounds! I needed all that gear when shooting weddings, don’t need it for vacation photos. Sounds like I talked myself into taking the point & shoot! Depends on how much of my clothes I can fit into my wife’s suitcase though!!

Wowzers, Cowboy! $10,500 in repairs would really hurt! But it sounds like the right choice to me.

                    24 please and thank you.

Dont forget, you can: start late, start over, be unsure, try and fail AND STILL SUCCEED!

If it is important to you, you will find a way. If not, you will find an excuse.

7:30 am here in N.Y. with heavy rain, changing to sleet then heavy snow later today. The weather folks are talking up to a foot of snow, but not until there is a nice glaze of ice on the roads. QW can I go to Mexico with you and your wife? Sigh.....

Cowboy...my husband is the same way about his vehicles. He's got a 1999 Ford pickup with over 150,000 miles on it and wouldn't dream of parting with it. So far he has been able to fix anything that goes wrong, but I know there will come a time when it has to be "put out to pasture", hopefully not literally. (my husband can't throw anything away.)

Hope that everyone has a great day! Here's to another 24!

Five minutes to 8 am here in Jersey and the lighting is still dim out there but looks a pretty clear. Hopefully they'll have the laundry room fixed in my apartment complex today. Definitely wishing I went with the apartment WITH the washer/dryer. <sigh><shrug> Committing to another 24!

Probably one of my favorite quotes. Simple but to the point and yet dramatically changed the way we live. Let there be light!
