Temps have been falling into the 40's around here the last couple of nights so I guess that Fall is just around the corner. Love this time of year when the leaves are changing color, the apple season is starting to kick off, and the pumpkin spice products are everywhere.

Rava, yes alcohol is sneaky, cunning, baffling and powerful, but being aware of that is half the battle won. Good job staying away from booze!

Hardly rained at all and we were back in the field just after lunch. A bit of a reprieve from the heat today but getting very hot again for the next week or so, good thing we have a/c in the combines lol.

Mr. J has been working at putting the new roof on the garage, and now he's wishing that he had hired someone else to do the job. We tend to forget that our bodies don't work the same as when we were 20. At least he has good weather to work in with lots of sun and temperatures in the 60's.

You're right Jude, our mind thinks we can tackle some work but our bodies tell us maybe we shouldn't have lol. And working with metal roofing is more dangerous than shingles. At least he has good weather to work in.

Dill, we are so blessed the grandkids moved home so we can be part of the great gkids lives. Yet another blessing!

Playing with the idea of selling our 5th wheel that we use for adventures when we are home. I'm ready for vacation rentals instead. These health issues have really got me thinking of alternative options!

I had a good morning at the hospital job in spite of the fact that the regular registration clerk was out with covid. Most times when there is a sub things are hectic. But the sub today kept things running smoothly.

Ginger, how does Mr. Ginger feel about selling the 5th wheel? It' sounds like a realistic plan to me.

Jude, we all are at the age where we have to become realistic about what we can safely do. It's not worth risking our health and safety.
