I was thinking I'd maybe go out and winterize the camper and check things out at the farm this morning but it's supposed to rain today and tomorrow so I might wait till Friday.

Good morning Cafe. Cowboy, maybe today is just a day of rest for you since it’s going to be raining. You probably need a few good down days! Dill keep a close eye on that gater if it’s actually in there as they move really really fast. I was told if you have to run from then to run in a zig zag pattern. Ginger, we have air fare scheduled so we will be leaving end of the month. We still don’t have power in our neighborhood. Sure do hope they get that fixed soon! Luckily, we had no food in the freezer and very minimal stuff in refrigerator. Jude I hope you are still have some good sister time. Hope she is healing well. Ginger, glad that your knee is feeling a little better, and hope that you can get a steroid injection soon. It's tough to slow down long enough to allow your body to heal, but at least you'll get a lot of sewing done.
My sister went to see a radiologist yesterday to see if she needed chemo or radiation to completely wipe out any remaining cancer cells. The Dr. told her that she is cancer free and a recurrence is very remote. Yay!! She has to take a pill everyday for 5 years to further reduce the chances that the cancer will come back but that's a small price to pay for being able to stay alive.
Glad that the harvest is over for you cowboy. Now you can start working on your train set.
Rava, hope that things are somewhat back to normal in Florida when you make your way back home.

November 1st. isn't far off Ginger, at least Halloween will be spent at home. Sounds like you and Rava will be headed back around the same time.

We're heading off to check out the Snowy mountains this morning, and it looks to be a beautiful day weather wise. My sister's outlook on life has improved dramatically since getting the good news that she is cancer free and I'm so happy for her.So much to be grateful for.

Good morning Cafe. Jude, I am sure your sister has a whole new aspect on life. I am so happy for her and you as well that you get to have some fun without the C word looming over. Taking a pill everyday for 5 years is easy! Great news! Ginger, we will both be back in our summer homes within days of each other! Dill hope those defensive moves never have to be put into play! Something about zig zag running confuses the alligator. It’s worth a try if ever in that situation. We still don't have power in FL. So hopefully soon! Hi to Cowboy and Mul! Our fundraiser takes place this Sunday and involves a walk around a pond. The pond where the 'gator was sighted. I will keep my camera ready if there are any signs of it and will post here.
