    Good morning cafe!

Dill, so glad that the reunion went well and that everyone had a good time. It must have been a lot of work but I bet that it was well worth it!

I have an early morning doctors appointment and lots of errands to do today but that's okay. It helps me stay away from the booze if I don't have time to think about it.

    Twenty four more please...

Great to hear that the reunion turned out so well dill. I'll bet you're more than happy at how it turned out.

I'm not sure why your post was flagged Slo, I think that's the first time I've ever heard that happen.

Waves to the rest of the gang!

Slo, I have no idea what caused your post to be flagged. It seemed fine to me.

Things are slowly getting back to normal around here. My cleaner comes on Wednesday and that will help a great deal! I'm slowly putting things back where they belong in the meantime.

24 more for all of us here, please and thank you.

Good morning Cafe. Dill so good to hear that your reunion went so well. Lots of new and old memories for sure! Ginger, that person that was not hungover either had a super high tolerance, they were faking feeling good or too young to be too sick. I do NOT miss that feeling whatsoever. Feeling sick is bad enough but adding shame, remorse and guilt makes it a really, really dark experience. I am so glad that is not us! Cowboy, Diamond paint class is just one class in mid August when I get back from visiting out west. Hope everyone has a great day. We are heading to a hotel to spend the night before our early morning flight tomorrow. Cleaning the refrigerator out and loading up the car to leave around noon. Wishing everyone a great and sober day! 24 more please and thank you.

Safe travels Rava! Not much going on today, just another early doctor appointment.

Slo, when do you get your knee scooter?

Quiet here today too, Jude. Another day in the 90's, as the forecast is 94F. And humid. It's been a tough summer. Thank goodness for AC!

Slo, did you get an explanation for the flag on your post? I wonder if someone clicked on it accidentally as it is right next to the Like button.

Yesterday was granddaughter's birthday so we had a little party for her here. She has lovely friends, and they all are easy going and pleasant company. I think they enjoyed themselves.

                  Safe travels, Rava!

                  Greetings Cowboy and Ginger.

Have a safe flight Rava and enjoy the visit.

It's hot for the next few days here as well dill, too hot for me. Nice that you were able to host the birthday party for your granddaughter and her friends, I'll bet they enjoyed the wide open spaces.

I think dill probably hit the nail on the head about your flagged post Slo, sure hope it wasn't me that did it by mistake. But if it was, my apologies as I'd never flag anyone's post.

Hope all goes well at the Dr's appointment Jude.

Not much new with me, it sounds like the drywall and insulation will get delivered next week. Adam and Darcie will be at the cabin all next week for holidays and they have some of Darcie's family up there visiting with them so Adam will have help getting it unloaded. Now just to arrange the plumbing inspection again lol.

ABC, glad the sheet rock will come when someone else can help Adam unload it! The stuff is heavy and awkward. Lol

Slo, I'm curious about the scooter too.

Dill, how wonderful you were able to have gdaughter's party and you found her friends lovely. Boy, that can go either way these days.

Rava, safe travels. Remind me, where out west your family lives?

Jude, when do you volunteer again?

                        Hey Mul!

Nobody flagged my post, unless I accidentally did it myself.

I got the knee scooter, but it’s hard on my other foot. Best of all, I got a boot yesterday! So helpful, and controls the pain! Saw the new podiatrist yesterday. Helpful to get a boot; otherwise not overly helpful.
I can see the development of a tailor’s bunion and strain on that outer… metatarsal below the pinkie toe; but she can’t. Bet she will only see it if it progresses to the point that it needs surgery.
Pain pills given, and an EMG and MRI ordered. I sure hope insurance will cooperate.

Plantar fasciitis advice sure contradicts itself!! It’s unbelievable. I have been following one that advocates a stretching routine, but think I will switch to another that advocates rest, and uses this little machine to promote blood flow to the area.

The x-ray shows that heel spurs have developed too. All these permanent degenerative changes to my foot from wearing the rigid thick heel lift on my shoe, but no way to fix them.
Now I will be struggling for the rest of my life with this; with pain & mobility problems.

Good luck with your travel day, Rava!

Sounds like such a nice party that you provided for your granddaughter, Dill.

That will work out well for the delivery at Adam’s place, Cowboy.

I had such a nice day at D1’s yesterday with D4! I can just sit there, but still so nice to watch the kids swim with their auntie.

I sure can’t talk about what I’m going through with the extreme pain that has reached a peak, and the extreme mobility restrictions and lifestyle alterations with my daughters. I’m just told to up my antidepressants, and take a resiliency class.

Hope you have a good day running errands, Jude.

Super late check in as our travel day started at 3 am. We are now in Idaho with the grands. So good to see them and lay hands on them. We went and got a few groceries for our little apartment. Will be going to bed soon. Cowboy, glad the drywall is coming! Slo, glad the boot is controlling the pain. I will check back in tomorrow when I am more coherent! LOL 24 more please and thank you.

Good morning all! We are finally getting some much needed rain and lower temps. What a relief!

Ginger, I will be going to the shelter on Monday morning from 8-12, and that will be my shift going forward. There are over sixty cats there and it's a lot of work, but I love it!

Slo, I'm so sorry that you are dealing with so much pain and stress. Have you considered going to an orthopedic doctor that specializes in feet? They really know their stuff and another opinion can't hurt.

Rava, glad that you made it out west in one piece. Enjoy your visit with the grands!

I'm in for another twenty four hours of serenity...
