Jude, should you follow-up with the doc or is this typical? Hope you're feeling better soon!

Great job on 10 years Briseus! Stop by again and catch us up with all that's going on with you.

Rava, where in Idaho were you? Is it Mr. R's side of the family that lives there?

Slo, I hope the group therapy brings you lots of benefits. Good luck to D1 on her first job post college!

Hi Dil, ABC and Mul. Let's enjoy another day of freedom

Last day of antibiotics but I still feel kind of crappy. If I'm no better on Monday I will call the doctor.

Hope you got home safe and sound last night Rava.

Maybe don't wait till Monday Jude if you're not feeling better by tomorrow, you don't want the pneumonia to take hold again.

We were able to watch the parade without getting wet, it was actually sunny through most of it. It started raining shortly after though and we got another 3/4" of rain by the time we went to bed. More rain on the way for today and Friday so I imagine that's going to affect how many people get out to the fair.

Waves to the rest of y'all!

Rava, four hours? Ugh! Hope you are safely home.

ABC, I'm glad you got to enjoy the parade! I wish we could get some of that rain. Send it down.

Jude, please don't wait until Monday. What would it hurt to get a recheck to be on the safe side?

Waves to all. I'll take another day of freedom!

I think I’ll take a break from posting. I’m just not feeling it as I adjust to the horrors of being disabled.

Hope you are home, safe and sound, Rava.

Jude, you should be feeling better by now. I wonder if the antibiotic course wasn't strong enough. I don't think you should wait through the weekend to check in with the doc.

Cowboy, you needed the rain, so I guess it's a good thing. Too bad about the timing with the fair.

                  Waves Ginger, and Mul.

Slo, I hope you keep posting!

I'm checking in late bc of the volunteer shift. Feeling kind of tired, too. I was with a lady in the office who had just been through a course of antibiotics for pneumonia. The was coughing quite a bit. She said her young son had just had pneumonia, too. It seems odd to me that I'm hearing about so many people with pneumonia in the summer...

24 more for all of us here, please and thank you.

Good morning cafe. Turns out the 4 hour delay in the morning was just the start of the day. United Airline had a major computer problem which shut down all the flights. To make a long story short, our 5 pm flight got cancelled at 1 am. We had to scramble to find a flight. We got in to our destination this morning after no sleep and are driving home. Worst travel day of my life. Anyway, i am so happy to be headed home and not stuck in Denver with no luggage, car or hotel. Slo, I hope when you are feeling better you can post again. Cowboy sorry about the rain and the fair. That stinks. Glad you got to enjoy some of the parade. Jude, you just may need a different antibiotic. They all work on different things. I am sure you will get yourself straight.. Hi to Ginger and Dill. 24 more please and thank you.

Slo, don't be a stranger and don't give up on finding help in dealing with your pain and depression. Please check in now and then and keep us updated.

Rava, that's awful about your flight being cancelled and being stuck at the airport. That's one of the reasons I hate flying...

I am feeling a little better today, and I think that the smoky air from the wildfires didn't help. It's supposed to be hot and humid today but with less smoke.

Cowboy, that stinks about the rain coming while the fair was going on. Even though you probably need the rain the timing could have been better. Not much we can do about the weather is there.

I'm in for another twenty four...

What a nightmare travel story, Rava! So sorry you and Mr. R had to go through all that!

I'm sure the air quality is not helping, Jude. Hope you feel better soon.

I sure hope you stick around Slo, but if you need a break make it a short one okay?

Good to hear that you're feeling a bit better Jude, but don't take any chances if you don't improve.

That does sound like a travel nightmare Rava, sounds like you'll be sleeping/napping most of the day today.

3.5" of rain so far and looks like it will be tapering off now. We definitely needed the rain because of the dry conditions. Maybe it's headed your way Ginger.

There have been a few cases of pneumonia in Veg as well dill, don't think I've ever heard of it in the summer either. Maybe it's a new strain and the existing antibiotics don't work as well.

Slo, I completely understand. Constant pain is so debilitating. Come back when you feel up to it. We are here.

ABC, I'll take that rain! We are headed toward triple digits again. It's a good time to head to the coast for two weeks! Leaving Monday. Can't wait.

Jude, I'm glad you're feeling a little better. You're probably right about the smoke. The air quality sucks up your way. Hopefully, you'll continue to improve. We have another round of covid here. Hoping to steer clear of that!

Rava, that is my worst nightmare! Ugh. Hopefully, you'll get some good rest today.

Dill, any more news on your hospital closing? They are warning of closures around here.

                              Hi Mul!

I'll take another day of freedom!

Good morning Cafe. Feeling so much better this morning after spending 12 hours in bed. LOL. Hope everyone has a Good Friday. We are now headed away for a wedding this weekend. I am already thinking about drinking Ginger ale or sprite in a wine glass. It’s those little things. I know if I have 1 I will end up in a bad place. So the key is say no to any amount of alcohol. Ginger, enjoy your trip to the coast. Jude, hope you are feeling better. Hi to cowboy and Dill. 24 more please and thank you.
