You're a bit colder than us Jude, it's -13C (8F) here. But I'll be going out to shovel snow after breakfast so that will keep me warm lol. We do a lot of our shopping off Amazon as well, it's just so convenient.

When I was out shoveling yesterday our next-door neighbor was out doing his sidewalks as well, but he was using one of those cordless electric snow shovels. I never had much faith in them, but it looked like it was doing a pretty good job. When we were done, I went over to have a closer look at it and chatted with him about it. When I got back inside it was on to Amazon and ordered one for us. It won't be here till the beginning of next week so I guess it'll be the hand shoveling for me today and tomorrow lol.

Waves to the rest of the gang!

Good morning Cafe and it sounds like it’s Amazon for the win. I already ordered a few things this morning from Amazon. Having them shipped to my daughter’s house up north so we will have them for Christmas presents. I get no rush shipping to earn digital credits so my books are cheaper that way. I have thought to sign up for Kindle unlimited but I would rather use Libby which is free. Cowboy that electric shovel sounds interesting and will probably save your back from aching! I hope everyone has a great Friday. Hi to everyone! 24 more please and thank you.

Today is our craft sale. I have a few things to add to my neighbor's table, mostly to help her fill up her table. Whatever I make will go to the rescue where we got Cyrus. Win/win

ABC, that sounds like an interesting apparatus. I'm going to look at one just to see what they are all about.

Waves all! I'm in for another day too

Electric snow shovel, Cowboy?!! I never heard of such a thing until just reading these posts. I knew about snow blowers, of course, but not electric snow shovels It sounds like a great idea. I'm going to research it!

Rava, I have the Libby app on my phone for my audio books. It's the app the local library uses. I think it's great!

Ginger, that garage sale definitely sounds like a win/win. I think it's a great idea to hold a garage sale for a good cause like an animal shelter.

Jude, I'm doing most of my shopping online this year, too. I do look around at various online stores, but it seems Amazon is the best organized and has the best variety.

I'm just back from the volunteer job. I got to train someone today. She's really great and I hope she enjoys volunteering with us.

24 more for all of us please.

All this talk of snow... and we're stuck in an endless rain pattern, I don't think I've seen a break in the rain since I've gotten out here to Hope three days ago. It's definitley a bit depressing but I suppose I should be happy it's not coming down as snow cause it would be mountains of it, Anyways, just have to weather through it, without drinking. Not today.

It has been in the 80s this week which is not quite soup weather but
Ya I was shocked when they said it would be close to 90F in Miami tomorrow for the MLS Cup Final (Go Vancouver Whitecaps!). I know it's warmer there but it is winter now...

Cowboy, I've heard about electric shovels but I've never seen one in action. They must work really well if you were impressed enough to buy one.

Ginger, I hope that you did well at the craft show yesterday. It's so kind of you to donate whatever money you make to a local shelter.

Rava and dill, I love the Libby app and use it all the time. I can't believe the cost of books these days, and for me it's just not worth it for something that's read once, then put it on a bookshelf to collect dust.

Mul, that is a lot of rain, and I agree with you that it can be pretty depressing. I'll take snow any day!

24 more for all of us please...

                Good morning, All!

Oh my goodness, Mul! That sounds like a lot of rain. No doubt it is depressing, but you are right that it would be crazy if it came down in the form of snow.

Mr. D's brother and his wife are coming for a visit today. It's always great to see them. I can't believe they are coming though because he fell a couple weeks ago and broke 2 ribs. He's in a lot of pain and is supposed to be taking it easy...He just can't sit still I guess.

It will be a good day not to drink!

Good morning Cafe. Ginger, I love the idea of the craft table benefiting the animal rescue. Such a good charity! Also for us Libby lovers a little tip which you may or may not know but if you download a book on your kindle and its about to expire and you cant find the time to finish it, just set your kindle in airplane mode and it will hold the book until you turn airplane mode off. This has saved me from losing books that I didnt have time to finish. Just a little tip for my friends here. LOL. Hope everyone has a good Saturday and Mul, I hope that rain stops soon! That is definitely depressing. 24 more please and thank you.

Thanks for the info and tip about Libby Rava, I'm going to look into it today. I have Kindle Unlimited, but it would be nice to have another option for books.

I'm not sure what's worse Mulburry, 3 days of rain or 3 days of snow like we've been having. At least you don't have to shovel rain lol.

Enjoy the visit with the family dill, hopefully your bil won't be in too much pain from the driving.

I'm kind of anxiously awaiting the arrival of the shovel Jude, if it works as good as the neighbor's does, I might get another one for Bubba. Call it her Christmas gift lol. I ordered one that uses DeWalt batteries as I have lots of those from my other cordless tools so hopefully it'll be just as good.

How did the craft sale go Ginger, or did you but more than you sold lol. Great idea donating the proceeds to the shelter!

It turned quite cold overnight, -20C (-4F) here this morning. I'm going to bundle up when I go out to shovel this morning. Looks like we got another 2 - 3" of snow overnight. I'm definitely getting in my exercise these past few days lol.

I hope your new shovel works well, ABC. It looks like you'll need it!

Mul, I hope the weather breaks soon and you get some sun!

I use Libby too. It's a great option for audio books. Thanks for the tip, Rava.

Sells were slow at the craft fair for everyone yesterday. My neighbor was so kind to put my things on her table. I was able to donate $25 to Grateful Heart PR. I'll do it again at the spring craft fair.

Dill, enjoy your visit today. Hey, Jude! (I just love typing that. lol)

Going to a patio sale with some friends. She's purchased a new 5th wheel and needs to furnish it! I'll take another day.
